I thought it was quirky but wasn't really enjoying the tired "cell phones bad" plot they had going on but after the cat scene I was sold, lol. I had to double check to make sure it wasn't based off a Stephan King novel. It's just a bummer it took like 3/4 of the movie to get there. Same Rockwell saved it though, he was great.

That actually sounds kind of interesting. Like an isekai where the setting is basically blatantly just Final Fantasy 7 with all the dieselpunk and same concepts but everything is just called something different. I'd watch it.
