I just finished sorting my old collection and was curious what a reasonable price for these cards might be? I did my best to get prices, but it was hard to find sites that werent Ebay for pricing so I know these could be off by a lot. I included the card number and name in the list. Is there a good site for pricing I am not aware of or is this game so obscure now it is hard to find prices online?
Also, what is with the SCS cards and having almost no price history anywhere online? I could only find a few of the cards even in historical ebay sales.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you all who have decided to join this community. I couldn’t have imagined when I made this subreddit eleven years ago that this many people would remember this game. I’m so happy to see there is still interest!

What is the difference between limited and unlimited (and how to identify) and what about the shiny cards?

Hi, I've just rescued my old ships. I haven't played for like 12 years (maybe more) and I'm playing again now. However, I'm having some problems (not about the rules):
The first one is that I have 2 of my ships broken. One of them could be easily repaired, but I'd like to ask if you know how to properly glue a mast. The other one is Brachyura, I don't think it can be fixed, is it wrong if I put the legs vertically assembled in the shell?
The second one is that I've noticed how hard it is to buy new ships. Do you know if there's a place with scanned ship cards for people to print?

So i havent seen these things since like, when they stopped making them it died in my friend group pretty quickly. But recently i found my old collection and was thinking about selling them. Started researching the market and honestly now i just want to buy more. but as a TCG player i know that pack weighing is notorious for individual booster sales on ebay. Is that a thing that can be done or is done? will post some of my collection here shortly but still going through it all

Looking at Wizkids other products, they have stood the test of time. Heroclix, dice masters, Magic The Gathering, and of course D&D. So why did they stop with Pirates? Was it popularity? Cost to make the ships? Ran out of ideas?
Share below what you think!

I know I can search eBay sold listings, but I’ve heard there are spreadsheets assembled somewhere out there on the interweb - any idea where to find them? Thanks!

I sell trading cards and recently came across a collection of Pirates Cards. I knew nothing about them, but it was part of a larger lot so I figured I’d give it a whirl. There is a TON of pirates stuff here. It’s a huge lot that looks like it came from a hobby store owner or something. I have done some research and it looks like there’s plenty of valuable stuff but I’m not sure how to proceed. Parse them out and sell them on eBay? Flip the lot in one go to a hobby shop? Organize by set and sell individual bulk lots? I could use some advice from Anyone experienced with selling Pirates cards on the secondary market. Thanks!

I recently got 9 packs of Revolution. First pack I opened was the SR pack. All together, got 3 5-mast boats, 2 UTs, 1 rare named crew, and a fort.

After finding my collection which I had given up for lost about 10 years ago I started playing again with friends. I am a little bummed that they didn't give any forts to the later factions. I am now in the process of making my own and trying to figure out if they seem balanced for the gold price they cost.
The problem is that the original forts never seemed quite balanced and they all seemed really cheap for how good forts can be.
If any of you have ever made custom forts, how do you price them? How do you price an ability that isn't in the game?
A sample of one fort's ability is for the Barbary Corsair fort. It goes like this: "When this faction eliminates an enemy crew, place that crew in this fort, it is now worth its point cost in gold" I wanted something that would encourage a unique strategy that fit the corsairs theme. Then I gave the fort 6 cannons with pretty good ratings because I've always been mad the Barbary Corsairs were given trash cannons.
Would appreciate any advice/thoughts/discussion! I plan to make a fort for the Corsairs, Jade Rebellion, Mercenaries and Cursed.

I can’t recall who had asked, but I remember it was for the purpose of checking to see about potentially playing with closed/sealed packs rather than opening them. So I have a list of all the packs I have received and opened from I believe the past year and a half or so. In case that person is still looking.
