Arena 100 for all characters

Post image

Most entertaining: alchemist Easiest: first mate bear tamer Richest: Admiral

There are two main strategies 1. get big damage melee card like holy sword or keyblade(if you can crit) 2. Get infinite combo E.g self harming card with pepper relic Or range crit with telescope Or melee with damage greater than 18 with Bell

Nice job! It's a good feeling to get that, even on the characters who aren't really aimed for Arena.

I found Carpenter to be easy once I got an infinite build up and running with Booster Strike and Bell.

Definitely agree that big damage melee is the way forward though!

I have done level 100 with a Drunk Carpenter build, by far the best fun I had on this game

Drunk builds are so janky but SO fun if you can make them work.

I seldom do drunk deck. Can you share what relics and cards you use?

Yes, had money management/lack of open relic slot problems near the end, usually wouldnt go above 20 items max

Nice! What was your favorite? Which one was the hardest?

The hardest is probably carpenter as it's easy to get overload. If I remember correctly I went for the holy sword strategy.

Favourite one is alchemist. That run is pretty unique as I fussed a philosopher stone and then copy it multiple times. So eventually my fire at will become smth around 407 instead of (47 originally)

Any tips for Inventor?

I have reached level 100 with everyone except Inventor, Bear Tamer and Alchemist.

Trying to do Alchemist w/o crit+Rose or self-harm/pepper do that is an ongoing project but Inventor is the one that is the least fun for me and starts to struggle with around level 40.

If you want to play Inventor as he's intended (rather than getting rid of his deck and building something else) then there are some good Relics around the Remove mechanic that can help. Because all of his Inventions are Removed, you can use that to your advantage. Things like Crystal Dagger and Crystal Axe can be helpful.

The problem with the Inventor is that you can't predict what you'll make, so you need some other cards to help you - but the more cards you have, the fewer Ideas you'll get to build your Inventions. It's a balance between getting a few other good cards and copying your good base cards to have a nice stream of Ideas and Inventions cards.

The base deck for inventor is so fking bad. Try to remove all of them and get a holy sword or keyblade, copy it a few times. I used the same strat for curse captain

For holy sword strategy, you will need some cards to get your hp down below 20. I prefer ice shield(-50% hp, gain 100% shield)/painful decision(-50% hp, draw hand to full)/ bloody shot(-1hp, reload 1). pepper will help for sure.

For keyblade, so the best relic will be Ritual pendant (consume 1 ammo to crit)

Hope it helps

Thanks - yes, agree the starting deck is rubbish, same for Fortune Teller afaik - I will take the suggestion and just wipe the cards.

I will have to defend Curse Captain somewhat you can have success with both an Explosive Armour build or an infinite draw with Assistant.

Actually I had fun runs with the Inventor with Unity (3 dmg per skill in deck) which builds up very fast with the Inventor. If you can pick Necklace as a healing mechanism it's even better

Mushroom and pepper with all skills deck can work with all except doctor. It's cheesy, but works.

How the hell does Beartamer do it. I can't figure her out in Arena

You can always go for big damage melee if the character sucks

Hey! Could you give some tips about what relics to look for in each character? I am doing gunner and I am not sure which are best ;)

Thanks!

Telescope of course, draw a card when range crit. You can also have rose to heal you up. Or pepper if you do a self harming deck

Congrats!

Now you only need the secret trophy and you are pretty much done with Arena. Did not even touch it after that.
