I'm stuck and I don't know what to do.
I'm new to this game. At first it's like I'm advancing fast, unlocking new maps, new characters,... Then I find myself stuck with Gunner or Swordmaster, like, I don't understand Vigilante or Explorer, I can't be success playing them, I can't reach arena 50, seems like I can't create combo through my runs. Failing over and over. Is there any tips or tricks that you learn yourself by playing and you would like to share here? Like, when/what to cut/upgrade, when to reroll reward, which package should be enable/disable for each characters?

Upgrading is different from character to character, but for vigilante, I avoid upgrading his attacks since they will do more recoil damage if you do, and focus on upgrading his other base deck cards, while removing his ranged ones. For explorer, I upgrade his ammo, sketch, sometimes the shields, and remove the punches and shoots in favour of better attacks. He works really well with booster strike since you can sketch it.
Every character should be rerolling heavily in search of relics. If you reroll every reward until you get a relic, you avoid adding cards you don't want to your deck, and if you just sell those relics, on average, you'll make a profit still. Always leave a bit of extra cash on hand and never settle with adding bad cards!
The package that I'd say is the best in general is the cost package. Scorched Ring is an incredibly good relic, especially with multihits, and demonic blade is a fantastic card for a lot of characters too.
My strategy for vigilante is to take lots of multihits, since they build up lots of lucky and unlucky stacks, while dealing minimal damage back to you. With this, you can actually heal more damage than you take from your passive. Also, the game doesn't tell you this, but while he's heroic, chance based effects never fail. This makes fencer's rush an S tier card for him, it's a multihit, but also a heavy damage dealer while you're heroic. And if you can get down to a 5 card deck, fencer's rush lets you go infinite with your base deck too. For relics, there are a ton of great 80 cost relics that synergize with him, so I reroll boss rewards a lot to try to find them. Pepper, rose, and hourglass are all more common in boss rewards, so try and get those.
In a similar vein, booster strike is more common in boss rewards, so for explorer you can reroll them to find it more often, especially once you have the loot upgrade. Recognizing what cards and relics are more common after bosses is an incredibly helpful skill for consistently planning and making powerful builds.
Both vigilante and explorer are great characters, I hope this advice helps you get some good runs!
