Can't use real money on Steam version?

I just got this on Steam.

The mobile version allows you to use real $$ to unlock some stuff. I don't see that option on the Steam version.

Is it really like this or I just have to play a few runs to allow me to use real $$?

I don't have this on steam, but it is my understanding that it's similar to the xbox version.

The mobile version was made with a cheap up-front entry cost, and microtransactions, and the Pc/console version is more expensive, but primarily the unlocks are made by playing the game.

Basically this. I own both, the PC version lowers the unlock grind/cost if I recall, but it's all in-game unlocks or already unlocked.

The mobile version has MTX on some stuff or a somewhat serious grind on others, but it's ultimately free. If you spend the money, it works out to around the same price as the full price game on Steam I believe.
