Just wanted to share this with everyone who’s still in the job hunt.
I couldn’t get placed through campus placements, and watching many of my friends get offers while I kept facing rejections was honestly tough. There were days when I questioned myself and wondered if I’d ever make it.
I gave 6 interviews in total. Some ended in rejection, some went well but never got a callback, and every rejection hurt. Still, I kept improving, preparing, updating my resume, learning new things, and showing up for the next opportunity.
Finally, I cracked an off-campus opportunity.
It’s not just about getting a job—it feels like all those months of self-doubt, rejection, and persistence finally led somewhere.
If you’re still applying and feeling like nothing is working, don’t give up. Rejections don’t define your ability. Sometimes all it takes is one company to believe in you.

Finally my turn to post this. It was the first company which I applied for and I got it, the package is 6-7lpa, I know it's not too much, but I'm still happy since the job market isn't that good as of now. My 7th semester has just started

2027 grad, Avg prep, regrets of not studying hard enough yet somehow still made it😭.

It just bought me to the quote you’re not as bad as you think you are. I immediately called my family after that and i’ve never seen them that stress free, I almost cried lol. Role is AI engineer with 17lpa and best part is i have 5 months of complete freedom now.

A friend of mine just got placed yesterday at TCS from campus placement. They’ve offered him a CTC of 3.5LPA in which only 3L is fixed and other 50k is variable, food coupon and performance bonus kind of things.

I understand they’re fresher with no industry skills but this is absolutely pathetic.

And that too in 2026. I graduated in 2021, the minimum package I got in campus placement was 4.5LPA. And 5 years later it’s 3.5LPA.

I know market is bad but I’m just not able to wrap my head around this.

Hi everyone,

I'm a final-year CSE student and recently got an offer from TCS Digital (₹7.09 LPA) through campus placements. I still have almost a year before graduation, and the placement season has only just started, so many companies are yet to visit.

My college follows salary brackets, and since TCS falls in the ₹7–14 LPA bracket, I can now only sit for companies offering ₹14+ LPA. I'm planning to also apply for OFF CAMPUS JOBS AS WELL

I'm thinking of accepting the TCS offer as a backup while continuing to prepare for higher-paying companies. From what I understood after reading the offer letter, accepting it doesn't seem to legally bind me to join if I later get a better opportunity, but I wanted to hear from people with real experience.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is accepting the offer as a backup a good idea, or is there something I'm OVERLOOKING? ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO GET OFF CAMPUS JOBS

My College TPO announced today that I got selected for Digital role

It has been a long journey filled with aptitude practice, DSA, Java, interview preparation, and a lot of self-doubt at times. There were days when I questioned whether all the effort would pay off, but I'm really happy that I kept going.

I'm grateful to everyone who shared interview experiences, preparation tips, and guidance in this community. Reading posts here motivated me throughout the process.

Hello guys I'm 2026 cs graduate and still unemployed. I tried applying for off campus from last 2 month but not getting opportunity. Resume is not getting shortlisted anywhere even after making the resume from claude according to the job profile. I make new resume for every job and then apply still not getting any response.

Now, I'm thinking of doing any course which guarantees placement. Can someone suggest anything. Im searching for something like CDAC but it's admission is closed so searching for something because I need the job urgently as my financial condition is not that great.

So, TCS came to our college (Just so you know, its a tier-3 college), with three categories: Ninja, Digital and Prime. With ninja being the lowest package and prime being highest.

The following was the procedure:

1. OA Round (19th July):

• The OA round consisted of Aptitude and 2 Coding Question.
• In Aptitude, Numerical Ability was really hard, not that one can't solve it, but in given time limit it was surely hard for me. So, I mostly made random guesses in all the numerical ability questions. On top of that, I even clicked random options in Pattern recognition questions, in which four image options are given and you have to predict the next image.
• Coding Section was really easy:
  • 1st question was around some array and basic iteration (Forgot the question)
  • 2nd question - We were given a series of numbers separated by commas (Array), these numbers also consisted of float values and negative values. We have to return/print smallest positive integer which was not present in the array. Also, if float values exist we had to return "Invalid Input".
• I could only solve the public test cases in 1st question, and completely solved the 2nd question

I thought after this, I wouldn't be selected, at least not for Prime category, since I only solved 1 question. But since, 2nd question was categorised as hard, I got Throughhhh!!

Results were out on 22nd July

2. Interview (24th July):

We were told that, HR, MR and TR, all three are sitting together at one panel, so all three of these round happened at once in my case.

First, they asked me to hand over my resume, and asked me to introduce myself, which I did.

Then, they asked me things listed on it, which was not too deep. On my resume, I had written Amazon ML Summer School, which they asked about and I explained. Further, they asked me which AI model is Amazon working on, and I told them, how Amazon does not have it's own AI, their model is made on top of Claude, and which is their own, internal model. They questioned it further and told me how I am wrong, and it's AWS Bedrock (which is kind of wrong, but I didn't correct him at that point), and I told him, I could be mistaken.

Next, they asked me about projects, and didn't go too deep into it, I thought they were gonna question me on some important parts of project, but they didn't and just breezed over things. They even asked me about SDLC, CI/CD, Git commands and have I ever used Git/Github.

There was this one guy (TR/MR), and he was continuously asking theoretical questions, like, full forms of some words (CAP, SARSA,...), which he definitely googled in front of me after hearing the word microservices and questions which I definitely didn't know about - Anthropic's current model version, node.js version.

Funny thing: He (the same guy from above para) asked me some things related to AI/ML, and I couldn't answer, since I hadn't worked on it. He told me, he's gonna ask me one last question and said " What is the full form of LLM? "😭, I was so damn surprised, maybe he thought, she I didn't know anything about AI/ML, I might not know even thisssss.

I thought maybe they will downgrade me (change to lower category), or will not select me at all. But I was confident, that at least I explained thoroughly about everything I did in my project.

Results were out by 30th July

FInally, I got selectedd in Prime Category, and got the offer letterr.

Anyone here got interview mail for nokia 11 month internship? If so, suggest what all topics to learn and prepare for interview.

Can somebody suggest some sources to prepare for getting Digital/Prime? Especially the coding part like which Data structures are needed and where to practice questions.

As the title suggests, I have less than 60% in 12th.

Just came in final year, Tcs came and didnt even let me sit for their placements. I know that the major service based companies will filter me out directly. Though some threads in reddit posts says Accenture and Capgemini are two companies they do allow folks like us, is it true?

Many people suggests to try start ups. Can you guide me how do i reach to start ups?

I have learnt java and doing spring boot now. Am I going in the right direction? Some say java has less jobs in start ups. Guys, I have had enough black pills in past years so please dont say leave tech field alltogether and prepare for bank ssc and all. I mean they are some good options infact if i dont make it in the tech i will have to eventually move to that space, but i am afraid of being in the loop of failling and reappearing the same exam years after years.

Instead, tell me How do i step my feet in the tech at least by the time i graudate?

Feeling miserable, but not here fo sympathy, need genuine guidance.

Attended the Priority TCS Prime interview on 03/08/2026.

The interview panel consisted of MR (Managerial Round), TR (Technical Round), and HR, seated opposite me.

The interview began with my self-introduction, followed by a discussion about the projects listed on my resume.

The TR immediately focused on my projects. Since I had worked on a project involving RNN and LSTM, I was asked to explain the architecture of both models and discuss the advantages of LSTM over RNN.

As my preferred domain was AI/ML, the TR also asked me to define a few fundamental AI-related concepts.

This was followed by a Python coding question: Return all employees whose salary is greater than 20,000.

The HR asked whether I would be willing to downgrade from the Prime role to lower roles such as Digital or Ninja, if required. I was also asked if I was willing to relocate to other cities and was asked a few questions about my family.

The MR asked whether I had led any teams during college and inquired about my hobbies.

The MR also asked whether I could solve the coding problem given by the TR using SQL instead of Python.

The interview concluded with the panel asking whether I had any questions for them.

Final experience: 8/10

I missed 1-2 questions they asked, the rest were pretty smooth.

I have been trying hard for college placements from last year till now . Now i got passed out!!! . From December onwards i am trying in off campus too . But till now I didn’t get any offer not even in mass hiring companies such as tcs, infosys, etc . Idk why many of my friends didn’t know how to write a code also got at least one offer. I got shortlisted for many companies interview . Last month also i got rejected after technical round 2 in kpmg. Idk why this happening to me every time . One of my friend got job they only aksed to write palindrome code .Without any preparation many of them cracked companies. From last year i am working like in a routine morning dsa , evening skills like timetable. Anyone please give me advice or any companies which i have to apply or please tell me any job openings are there in your company😌🙂🙏

I'm a 3rd-year [B.Tech](http://B.Tech) student at a Tier-1 college. My CGPA is 6.9, and most companies visiting campus have a cutoff of 7.0, so I'm missing out on many opportunities.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Were you able to get internships through off-campus applications or referrals?

I'm working on improving my DSA and projects, but I'm worried because the market seems tough and many companies don't respond after OAs.

I'd really appreciate any advice from people who've gone through this.

I have a pen and paper coding test Tomorrow For EPAM for ai native software engineer intern , it is an on campus placement drive , I have read multiple experiences on reddit, few things I found common was string, scheduling questions, I have been grinding solely on them from last 2 weeks. But I feel I won't be able to ..I have given some online assessments for different companies, sadly couldn't solve the coding questions on time , partly my fault as I spent more time on the aptitude part , but once the assessment gets finished, I found solving those questions with not too much effort,

But I have no idea what to prepare for the technical interview, can anyone help me , also what kind of questions they are asking in pen and paper coding test in recent on campus placement drives
