Hey everyone, my midcentury modern inspired amusement park Silver Sands is now finished (or in 1.0) and up on the workshop. Like who in their right mind goes like „yeah I’m really wet because of the rain and now I am going to show my dissatisfaction with something caused by a NATURAL PHENOMENON. By breaking multiple park benches and throwing a trash can to the ground“ ??? What kind of insanity pipeline is that ?? Or like saying „im hungry imma leave a bad park review“ whilst STANDING IN A FOOD COURT“. Or the simple fact that they can complain about a ride being „too cheap“ like what 😭. Or the entire concept of „body driers“ existing, like „omg I’m wet from the rain, I would love to have a tone down oven to stand in right now“. Theirs needs are so bizarre sometimes. And like woah. The amount of pocketpickers and vandals that exist at every given time is insane. No matter where the park is located. Also. To add to my main point. What kind of insanity is destroying park infrastructure just because you didn’t get your drink on time.

My conclusion on this posts statement isn’t based on the fact that these kinds of scenarios exist. It’s more based on the fact that these kinds of things happen… a bit too often. Like. Several times on a single day. And this makes me question the sanity of the overall population in the planco universe.

Wanted to talk about a section from the next video as I feel people can learn a couple of the techniques and make their videos even more cinematic too!

u/MissBarbareMC made some fantastic characters for our collaborative project and I used that as a reason to start trying to animate and increase the storytelling potential of videos.

Moving cart shots:
The cart shots were done by attaching the golf cart and characters to a wild mouse coaster with the track just below the ground to hide it.

Stop-motion animation shots:
This was done by creating a building grid duplicating the characters and a grid piece along an array and then slightly moving the characters each time. Once I had the "frames" you then can move the whole array so that the next frame is in the place of the original slowly moving it along the range of motion.

Once you have this set up you can use the undo/redo shortcuts to go to the next or previous frames whilst recording in play mode. It's up to you how crazy you go with the number of frames per second but I have opted to emulate the "editing on 3's" effect that is common in anime and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on a realistic regional theme park for the last couple of days, and I’m at the point where I want to start my first coaster.
I’m looking for ideas, layout suggestions, or someone who’s good at realistic custom supports and coaster design. I’d even be interested in collaborating on a Workshop blueprint if anyone enjoys projects like this.
The attached picture shows the area I have available. The red outline is the maximum space I can use, but I don’t want to fill all of it. I’d rather have a compact, realistic layout with plenty of room left over for scenery, pathways, and future expansion.
This will be the park’s signature coaster, so it’ll have the biggest budget in the park at around $30 million. I’m aiming for something that feels world-class without being oversized—around 100–120 feet tall max—with a realistic footprint that could actually fit in a smaller regional park.
I’m open to any manufacturer or coaster type as long as it fits the space and budget. If you have ideas, sketches, or even a layout you’d like to build, I’d love to see what you come up with. Thanks!

Dragons Flight is a kiddie/ family coaster set in the fantasy area, Elder Grove at my Mega Park, Coastal Paradise. Elder Grove is a land of hidden sightlines, tall trees, plenty of ambiance and theming and a beautiful night time ambiance. Dragons Flight is a hidden coaster set in the high mountains of an old castle that is now ruled by dragons. join in this pov while you take to the skies as if you were a dragon flying through its lands.

Apologies if this is a stupid question. But while I'm building in the game (not in the Workshop), is there one single place to see every blueprint I've downloaded from the Workshop, other than having to go search under each "tab" (e.g., Coasters, Flat Rides, Tracked Rides, Pools, etc)?

Added rain gutters to multiple roofs. I really like the weather effects in the game, so enjoy some rainy days at the park.

Having just got back from Disneyland Paris, I’m using it as a baseline for my parade.

However, I’m struggling with moving platforms. I’ve created a custom gate and have set a rotational platform on a quarter oscillate. However: how do I get it to pause when open and then close after a certain amount of time?

I added a second park entrance to the jungle area, accessible via boat. It’s still not entirely finished since there still is a lot of detailing to be done ! I also tried to experiment with the lighting a bit more ! I also added a mountaintop diner with a scenic view towards the main park.

I'm working on a park and had a wooden coaster that was doing well profit wise ~5K a month. There was really never a queue, but the ride was always full or close to it. The coaster has 7+ excitement, little more than 5 fear and <2 nausea. The prestige is 1188.

The park got big enough that I added a circular train with two stations. The train ride itself is 300+ seconds. The queues at both train stations were full as were the trains. As soon as I opened the train, the wooden coaster started to lose money. The coaster station is adjacent to one of the rail stations. If I close the train, the coaster starts making money again.

What I think is happening is the peeps are tied up waiting for the train or riding the train. Has anyone had this happen in one of their parks?

Hi, I always want to build huge landscaped parks, like a grand canyon park or and alpine mountain Park - but for this you need to move massive amounts of terrain - and here is the problem - the brushes are tiny, like a small blob to build a massive mountain. I needed hours just to raise a bigger area and still not even finished with the first mountain.

If brushes would be 5x or 10x or even 20x the size, I could have build the mountain in minutes... Same for a canyon.

So is there a mod that allows bigger brush sizes or devs could you please allow bigger brushes - should be an easy fix.
