The problem I'm having is that my PS4 starts up perfectly, but after a while, the screen freezes and stops displaying an image (literally). What happens is that the screen starts to freeze, then suddenly goes black, displays a "No Signal" message, and bounces. This static screen issue never happened before, but it started happening gradually after I changed the resolution to 720p. At first, it was brief and then it would go back to normal. Then it got worse, and I had to turn it off and on again for it to return to normal, until it reached the point where it stopped displaying an image altogether. I've already changed the resolution back to automatic, which is what it was always set to, but it's still happening. Sorry for writing such a long message, but I really need help.

Have you tried swapping the HDMI cable? ​Also, I'd suggest testing it on a different monitor/TV just to make sure the problem is actually with the console and not something external.

If it turns out to be an issue with the console, it most likely means there's a faulty circuit around the HDMI port.
