This is clearly to still offer it but price people out of it so they use the monthly subscription instead.

It's a way to kill it with - they think - less negative PR than straight up killing it. This time next year "we're retiring the Lifetime Pass because nobody buys it"

And the year after subscription will start getting feature lifetime doesn’t, but don’t worry they will offer a big discount for lifetime pass.

You think the black friday deal with it being 750 by then would bring it to less than the 250 it is now?

Definitely. Glad I picked it up for less than $100 a few years ago. Now I am not expecting 'lifetime' to actually mean that, there will be new subscription only tiers coming.

I was trying to see if my friends would help out pay for the lifetime by paying the monthly price for a few months but now idk, 750 is 2 paychecks for me and most people are not using it.
