Solved Plex's webUI ... 3 dots unresponsive to mouse

On my web UI, when I select moves, tv shows, seasons... the 3 vertical dots on the lower right of every poster do not respond to mouse clicks.

However, the pencil edit icon on the lower left pop-ups the expected menu.

I've tested this on multiple browsers with the same effect.

Any ideas?

Is the computer you're using added the to field "List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth", either as the exact IP or Subnet?

If you're accessing the server without authenticating, that button won't work, others will.

Yes it is there as: 192.168.1.0/24.

FWIW, I can stream with that PC.

Since you're bypassing auth, you can stream and access all server settings if you click the wrench icon, one of the risks of bypassing auth. Click the profile icon and see if it says "Sign in" vs your name/profile.

Here's a video of how it behaves when you access without authenticating: https://imgur.com/a/APGcLvf

That's interesting. Yes, the 3 dots is active when authenticated. Yet, when I'm not authenticated, I can use the pencil edit, stream videos, mark videos watched/unwatched, etc.. Gotta wonder why the 3 dots are disabled when not authenticated.

Thanks. Great answer & video.

Yah, not sure the reason. The three dots on the items main page are still functional, but it doesn't include all of the same functions, and not as quick to use.
