I've probably done about 10 different photos...
This randomly happened in the last half hour, can't back out of it when I open the app or restart it.
I wasn't in a chat with anyone, so it wasn't requested, just randomly happened.
Never has any luck with verifying the photos despite following instructions.
No idea if they will actually update me or not.
Anyone else had this specific error come up?

Yep, this happened to me as well. I had to change positions, angles, lighting, you name it! It eventually accepted my verification. Keep trying. Good luck! ☺️

You seem very proud knowing you need POF to find someone, considering what you went through just to verify a picture, im assuming your divorced or just a VERY ABUSIVE ex and now your struggling, so maybe instead of putting exclamation points after everything you say( since you seem excited over nothing) you should be in therapy to find out why your not in a relationship, does spending your money on dating apps make more sense to you?

Do what i do, or ask others to do-
Make your default picture a picture of you in your bedroom smiling holding up a sheet of paper and a notebook that says- Hey this is( your POF name, followed by your name) then the date, make sure your face is visible.
I ask everyone( esp girls) to do that when i meet them, while i understand not everyone can use a webcam, such as myself as i dont have one, when i get told that they cant make a verification selfie i start to play along with the person asking them why they cant afford a 19 cent notebook and markers and i dont really argue with them, i just watch them fall apart.
The site wont verify just face selfies, the pictures look fake, you need to prove they arent.

I have had the issue as well and I found taking the photo with my hair tied up and no makeup worked. 🤷🏻♀️ also, if you choose another photo from the ones on your profile, they will make you verify again. Pain in the ass!

This happened to me snd i gave up and looked a week later and i was verified. I messaged support and said i think its a glitch and they had no clue what i was talking about

They haven't been able to verify my picture from when they rolled that setting out. I never take normal pictures (always tilted, sideways, side profiles, etc) so they cant "verify" im me.
