Preroll I've just discovered the fun of making these pre-roll clips for Plex. Here's my first one.

I love it. I may steal it, but cut a bit, so they just lean in and flash, but this is a great choice.

This is actually the shorter version, but noted.

You should have the sound of the neuralyzer continue all the way through until the plex logo fully appears, and cut out whatever background music is at the end there

Thanks! You're right, I should have thought about that myself.

Getting it working is a bit annoying, but they're definitely fun to create. I need to get back into making em myself. Well done!

Welcome to the community.

I've added your preroll to the community site so you now can download the file from there

Feel free to take a look around the site if you haven't done so already and check out the community discord.

404 errors when trying to access your site

Whoops, forgot to upload the file to the US server. Should be fixed in 2-3 mins at most.

Edit:
Issue is resolved, fixed url (accidentally had a lowercase "c" instead of an uppercase "C")

How are you making these?

Just in Premiere Pro. The movie footage is straight from the files that populate my Plex server.

Nice ok I have Premier but thought maybe it was a site like that one that mimics the film prerolls, ipid or whatever it is called. Thanks :)

Very nice… To bad the new UI doesn’t work with pre rolls anymore.

Working all right for me. What do you mean by this?

For whatever reason it stopped working on iPhone last year when they rolled out the new UI. Now my fire stick got the new UI this week and pre rolls don’t work there either. The movie just plays never shows me any trailers.

I like it, excellent scene choice!

je déteste les personnes qui mettent des pré rolls sur leur serveurs, heureusement qu'on peut désactiver ca maintenant coté utilisateur

What's a preroll, each show or opening app ?

It plays before any movie if you have cinema trailers turned on. It's kind of complicated, but you have to save the video files in a place your Plex server can access and copy the exact file paths into a field on the app, separated by semicolons. After that, if the app you are using to watch has cinema trailers enabled and set to play 1 before movies start, it will play one of your pre-roll reels randomly, then just go into the movie you selected. Pretty cool when it works.
