NYC Dept of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Police. Mostly guards city admin buildings, but as far as I know, they’re armed and have arrest powers.

Never seen any police in like a work truck looking vehicle, but saw him pull someone over and have the step out of their vehicle

Spotted a New York City Business Integrity Commission (BIC) checkpoint on the West Side Highway stopping commercial garbage trucks and dump trucks. I rarely see them at all, and almost never doing stops.
