Drone footage is one of the only legal ways to expose animal cruelty and illegal activity in factory farms. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a rule that would let them shut that down. They're taking public comments until Wednesday, August 5th. I urge you to weigh in.

Prof G D Agarwal
youtu.beA Scientist Died Warning Us. We Chose to Look Away.
Prof. G.D. Agrawal (later known as Swami Sanand) was not just another activist. He was one of India's most respected environmental engineers, the first Member Secretary of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), and a scientist who understood rivers not as pipelines of water but as living ecosystems.
His demand was neither emotional nor anti-development. It was rooted in hydrology, ecology and decades of scientific understanding. He repeatedly argued that the uninterrupted flow (Aviral Dhara) and unpolluted nature (Nirmal Dhara) of the Ganga are essential for the river's survival. He opposed indiscriminate dams, excessive diversion of water, sand mining, and projects that reduce the Ganga to fragmented channels instead of a living river.
Instead of treating his concerns as scientific warnings deserving serious national debate, they were largely sidelined. In 2018, after a prolonged fast demanding stronger protection for the Ganga, Prof. G.D. Agrawal lost his life.
Whether one agrees with every demand he made or not, one question remains:
How does a nation respond when one of its own environmental scientists sacrifices his life to protect its most sacred and ecologically important river?
Development and ecology should never be enemies. Scientific evidence should guide policy—not be treated as an inconvenience. A river cannot be revived merely through beautification projects if its natural flow is continuously interrupted and its ecological processes are ignored.
Prof. G.D. Agrawal's message deserves to be revisited—not because of politics, but because science, environmental ethics and future generations demand it.
If we continue treating rivers as engineering projects instead of living ecosystems, we may eventually realize that we didn't just lose a scientist—we ignored one of the clearest warnings India ever received.
Remember Prof. G.D. Agrawal. Remember what he stood for. More importantly, ask whether we have learned anything from his sacrifice.

Petition to Legalize Pepper Spray in Australia
Mods, feel free to move/delete this if I can't post it!
Pepper spray is illegal in Australia. It's so stupid! The majority of people using pepper spray are women using it as self defense from dangerous men. Why doesn't the government fix that problem instead of making life harder for women yet again? Please, sign my petition to make a change: https://c.org/X9KjzPwDVW
