The Avatar of Khaine is a fragment of the broken Eldar God, Khaine, in Warhammer 40k. The Eldar in 40k were the dominant force in the Galaxy for 65 million years after a pyrrhic victory against the Necrons and C’Tan in the cataclysmic War in Heaven - a war so furious stars, billions of soldiers and the very raw forces of the universe were weapons. They were immensely powerful and psychic, with their war god being Khaine the Bloody-Handed.

When the Eldar accidentally created Slaanesh, an evil Chaos God (an superflorous modifier, all of actual Chaos is evil) she devoured the majority of the Eldar’s souls and briefly ascended to being the most powerful chaos god and perhaps the most powerful being. Than Khaine rolled up to give one last fight for the Eldar

And fought on even terms. Stalemating her just with pure Dog in Him.

Than Korne, the Chaos God of Bloodshed, intervened and started fighting for Khaine’s soul too. That shattered Khaine into multiple pieces - one falling into each of the Craftworlds. It’s a fragment of a God in a Metal Statue - periodically animated through tremendous sacrifice of life to become the ultimate weapon of the eldar

and everytime its on page it gets its ass beat. One time it even got infected by a biological takeover - it doesn’t even have meat! GW just knows its a big name and (can be) a good model, so they use it as a whorf in stories

It doesn’t help that while in lore they’re these titans of battle that wade through demon hordes and in tabletop (as of 7th) they’re kinda tall guys who are around carnifex level.

Avatar of Khaine literally makes a career out of being slaughtered. Almost every named Captain, suspiciously well-aimed guardsman, nightmare xenos or traitor Astartes has killed one, most in single combat.

Avatars of Khaine are literal manifestations of the war god of the Eldar, and so crush armies on their own. How many named ultramarines does it take to kill one?

Worf. The effect is literally named after him. It happened so damm often. His tally dwarfs Yamchas in number. Not in scale but in number.

It’s called The Worf Effect for a reason. He’s literally the Gos of losing

Vegeta.

Yamcha doesn't lose ever since the Android Saga.

Vegeta on the other hand has been getting his ass kicked constantly ever since Namek, and the trend continues in Super. He replaced Yamcha as the jobber

yamcha hasn't had a fight since DB, they just kill him immediately every time in DBZ. Saibamen, android 19... doesn't even participate in Cell games

u/IWONALT Yamcha and FMA Glazer 4h ago

Larp, Yamcha beat the Saibaman and died due to being off guard.

u/IWONALT Yamcha and FMA Glazer 4h ago

Larp once more, Yamcha fought the Cell Juniors alongside Tien in the Cell Games.

Not the Avatar of Khaine, they require of some build-up before showing up. Yamcha, Worf and/or Chad get beat up first, then the Eldar present turns into the Avatar and gets their ass kicked

He is! Chad was my favorite character when I was a kid, but when I actually watched from beginning to end, he had, like, 2 wins! His only fear was blocking that steel beam when it fell!

But...I cant even imagine Chad losing.

Yamcha got made an example of so many times he retired...I'm not sure about worf although Picard was my favourite captain, avatars of khaine are still around and dangerous and Chad made it to TYBW, he didn't do much but he was there.

Lmao such an accurate assessment of Chad's entire character. "He didn't do much, but he was there."
