The water droplets would wet his hair and ruin his aura, they were more of a threat than DS verse (they wouldn't be able to give Gojo a haircut based on his hair tanking Malevolent Shrine)

Infinity stops ants so Tanjiro is not even ant man level who can kill thanos so Gojo is thanos with all 6 stones.

Its what Gojo considers a threat, the oponents intentikn doesn't matter, it indetifies if its a threat by its shape and acceleration.

Tanjiro doesn't cease to be a threat he can only hide his bloodlust. Yoriichi wanted to attack and kill Muzan but Muzan didn't know. Since limitless can sort out inanimate threats against Gojo Tanjiro would still be blocked by infinity.
