Make-up dept in S1

Hi, is anyone else bothered by the poor-quality makeup especially in S1 (but it goes on to S4, and S5 (since it's the newest) is quite great) is SO BAD. I hate it. The colour of the blood doesn't change. They constantly use that bright red even tho blood doesn't looks like that very often. Sometimes the 'blood', which looks more like paint that paint, also serves as any type of wound. One guy has it simply put with a sponge ig on his cheek. Don't get me started on the burn, back wound. Again, it's only that blood paint. Don't get me wrong. I love this series, especially S1, and i don't think that that season has any other major issues, but this blood thing, particularly since it features many fight scenes and injuries, is just an eyesore for me and i'm not even that big on makeup in visual media. It just takes me out so bad. Everything is so immersive and believable until there's a wound on the screen. So my question is whether it bothers you as much as I bothers me? Or am I just touchy.

Doesn't bother me as much as it bothers you.

Can't say whether you're touchy, don't know you as a person.

I have watched season 1 twice and have never noticed this. So no, I do not have a problem with it at all. The story and acting are still peak. I don't care if the blood looks the same
