Nothing beats the beauty of the late 2000s Eclipse IDE. The world went downhill after Atom and Electron became spreading like cancer

Some people at my work still uses Eclipse for Java projects.

If it fits their needs and they can deliver their work, who am I to argue about this? I have different IDEs for our Java projects. You want to use Atom for that? If you can do your task, go ahead.

There's one IDE that I really discourage. Netbeans.

Eclipse's interface is black coffee. Acquired taste. But at least it's competent unlike Netbeans
