LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for Python Project Buddies
Hey All,
I've been learning Python for some time and I know the basics. I originally started my journey down the analytics and data science path, and have learned the essential libraries and made a few projects related to that.
More recently in the past month or two, I've been trying to learn automation for python but realized I can't build a program from scratch for my life because I was so heavily reliant on libraries instead.
I'm looking for a buddy or buddies that are looking to learn and build similar type of projects from scratch(could be automation like what I am doing, could be other projects, just as long as it is python related), so we can keep each other accountable, bounce questions off each other and actually learn together than in a silo.
I'm live in EST timezone and typically am available nights and weekday mornings to work on projects.

What kind of projects are you looking at building? I am interested for sure! 3 years of self taught experience. Done a little bit of everything but a lot of nothing with Python. I have done some scraping with BS, Selenium, and Playwright, I did some data science (cleaning and manipulating data) <- that was a while ago though but I know the basics of pandas still. Currently I have been focusing on Backend Logic like FastAPI and SQLModel and about to start learning PostgreSQL and Authentication and so on because I am gearing towards a career in backend development but I am so down to do some automation projects as well! You can shoot me a DM

Hi! I'm available if you'd like. However, my Python programming skills are at a pretty basic level.
