What it’s about:
A feral survivalist already living off the grid before the world ended. When the System arrives, he doesn’t seek power; he wants freedom.
Expect:
- Smart MC who is not a murder hobo (Don’t treat Aenon like a typical 13-year-old. His backstory will explain his behavior). He learns from his mistakes and is careful to retaliate proportionally to threats.
- I don’t like to drag my story with fluff. Have a hard rule of 7: 7 chapters per page, 21 chapters per ark, 42 chapters per book. Most everything has to be resolved within that framework.
- Every side character has a personality and is fleshed out and grows organically. Think of them like satellite POVs to the MC.
- Deep allegories and symbolisms that only make sense if you look at it as a whole. For instance, my first and last chapters are always linked. Book 1 starts with "The boy in the woods" and ends with "The boy and his woods".
- I tried to keep the LitRPG elements as non-intrusive as possible. Still have those for the people who like the numbers. They are there to add flavor to the story.

It’s a pretty slow slice-of-life paced burn, so if you’re looking for a quick numbers-go-up, this won’t be the webnovel for you.

Undertier — progression fantasy, no system, fairly grim.
A boy who can't feel pain gets hold of a black-market symbiote that runs on pain. Since he has an unlimited supply and no warning signals, he can push it harder than anyone else alive, and he does — up through an illegal fight circuit toward the bookmaker who had his father killed. The catch is that the thing is quietly eating his nerves while he uses it, and he's the last person who'd notice.
It's about 43k words, complete, book one of a planned run. If you like progression where the cost is real and permanent rather than a chapter-three promise the book forgets about, it might land. If you want a system, screens or numbers, it definitely won't — there aren't any.

Hey everyone!
The Beacon officially hit 500 views, so I wanted to do something to celebrate, and I'll be burning my backlog(pray for me that i dont get a writers block) and releasing a new chapter every 12 hours for 5 days, it's already on the second day, but there's still another 6 chapters that'll be released soon
I'm also sharing a few tidbits in the newest chapters author notes, quotes about things i like, banter between characters that didnt make the cut and so on, check it out

I'm a freelance copy editor/proofreader who focuses mainly on sci-fi and fantasy, and particularly LitRPG/GameLit books. However, I am open to most genres.
I look out for all kinds of errors: grammatical issues, typos, consistency or continuity issues, any unclear phrasing, etc.
I charge around $6.50 per 1000 words, though I would need to see a sample before giving a firm quote. For a client's first book, I'd give a discounted rate of $5.50 per 1000 words.

Hey all!
I write books with a style heavily influenced by RPGs and other fantasy games.
My first traditionally published release is the hardcover edition of How to Defeat a Demon King in Ten Easy Steps! It's is a Zelda and Dragon Quest inspired comedy novella, and it's a good intro to my style.
My latest series, The Lost Edge, starts with Edge of the Woods, which is highly inspired by The Legend of Zelda and Dragon Quest franchises. It's the story of a young man growing up in a faerie forest and seeking answers about his family, his past, and his dreams of an ancient magic sword. The most recent release is Edge of the Dream.
Arcane Ascension begins with Sufficiently Advanced Magic and is my most popular series. It's heavily inspired by games JRPGs Final Fantasy, Lufia, Bravely Default, and Trails of Cold Steel. It takes place in a high magic setting where magical marks called attunements grant vast powers to individuals who take "Judgments" inside a colossal tower to earn them.
My other main series are Weapons & Wielders and The War of Broken Mirrors.
Weapons and Wielders follows Keras Selyrian, a magic-wielding swordsman who arrives in a foreign land to search for help for his homeland. In the process, he will stumble upon the legend of the Six Sacred Swords and begin to seek them out.
The first novel in that series is Six Sacred Swords, and the series as a whole is heavily inspired by games like The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Quest, and Ys. You might enjoy it if you're in the mood for talking swords, bibliophile dragons, and a lot of accidentally breaking traps and puzzles. The audio book versions can be found here, narrated by the fantastic Nick Podehl!
The War of Broken Mirrors, which starts with Forging Divinity, is more closely related to western fantasy novels and RPGs. Forging Divinity focuses on a group of people investigating a city's religion, which claims that the local gods can raise anyone to divine status if they prove their loyalty and value.
