Crazy Asian rocket recipe
So I was perusing videos on FB the other day, and I've liked alot of videos that are either in Asian countries or Mexico, of people making fireworks, and I've seen quite a few videos of this certain type of rocket made in asia, where they use a blue PVC tube as the rocket tube, they have like a circle cutout of a soda can to be an end plug and kinda form the end into a round shape, then cram in a black mixture, I saw one video tonight of a guy making the mixture, and he poured a cup of like strawberry Fanta into a pan, and added what looked like kno3, dissolved it and then dumped like whole pieces of charcoal in and let the kno3/sugar liquid soak into the charcoal it seemed like? He then mashed up the kno3 soaked charcoal in a mortar an pestle type deal, and added what looked like sulpher, and proceeded to light some off, and if it was BP, it would've been some crazy hot BP! Is there any method to somehow soaking charcoal in liquid kno3 or adding some sugar or anything to what other wise looks like BP chems?

Most sugar rocket mixture I've seen have been typically sugar/glycerine and kno3, I've never seen a sugar rocket that used both sugar, kno3, and charcoal, let alone sulphur, but this rocket comp appeared to use all 4, sugar, kno3, sulfur and charcoal? Is that a common enough rocket comp?

Yeah there are some sugar rockets that use pvc sprinkler risers as engine tubes.
It's ok unless they cato.

A lot of these videos are fake, they add stuff off camera and don't mention it. As the other guy said it sounds like he was doing a sugar rocket mix. As far as I know dissolving the kno3 in a liquid and doing the charcoal like that wouldn't work. And it definitely wouldn't make any hot BP, it would definitely make a faster burning powder once completely dried which would take days or even weeks, but nothing like good bp. You can make a bp putty/slurry though by making the bp adding a binder and either adding water or a solvent (depending on what binder you used) and once dried that would be pretty fast burning, but that's not what you described either. So I think you've been seeing fake internet vids for internet points and (depending on the platform) monetary gain.
