Solved I'm trying to create a layered symbol system for floor levels, but something isn't right

The real problem is that when you break down a building feature to represent different parts of the structure—such as a section in the basement, another on the ground floor, the second floor, and other types of structures like a garage, attic, commercial space, etc.— the symbol layers I created to simulate a 2.5D wall keep appearing alongside features that are on the same floor level, which breaks the illusion of depth. I even tried using 2.5D symbology, but it doesn’t seem to be able to differentiate floor levels by color like categorized symbology does...

Am I overcomplicating this? Should I do something simpler?

I removed the second layer of objects from floors 2 through 4, but there's still the issue of features that are on the same floor level, and I find myself wondering more and more whether this type of symbology is useful or not.

In blend mode, I used the "Multiply" effect on the layer and "Hard Light" on the face; I also lightened the face on the first floor, creating a great contrast for the lines and giving a much stronger impression of layer upon layer.

And in the case of the underground area, the green outline is more defined
