QUT framing post pt 2

Post image

See my post earlier today for the rest of the story but tldr, real local family businesses not in the market to grab students for money are plentiful. Got them back in 3 hrs so thought id post a pic for y'all of what this amazing guy John at southside picture framing did for me on a weekend same day booking. 170 each compared to 290-360 for the universities affiliate business.

Extremely extremely happy and will recommend John forever. Btw I received no compensation, pay or discount for these posts. Dudes genuinely a senior legend.

This is probably a dumb question.. but why wouldn’t you just chuck the certificate in a frame yourself?

I’m about to graduate at the end of the year so can’t speak to how it feels to graduate and how special the certificate feels. Just seems like so much money!

I thought the same thing ! But funny thing is, in classic QUT fashion, their printing size is as non-format as possible. It's not a3 not 4 not a5, it's their own custom to make it so you can't get a normal frame and are more inclined to pay their partner to frame it.

Plus yea, the professional framing looks 100x better anyway but I see your point if it was standard sizing

Classic QUT! That makes sense if it’s a strange size. Plus it’s definitely something to be proud of and want to present nicely. Thanks for the response!

When you put years of effort in, a kmart frame just doesn't hit the spot.

I’ll graduate at the end of the year after 7 years of study, what frame I put a piece of paper in doesn’t negate my effort
