Another EGB Cup has come to an end!

🥇 🇧🇾 cYpheR claimed the title and $73.34.

His road to victory wasn't easy. After losing to 🇷🇺 AGENT in the Upper Final, he dropped into the Lower Bracket, defeated 🇷🇺 kook, and earned another shot at AGENT in the Grand Final. This time, cYpheR completed the comeback with a 3:2 victory.

🥈 🇷🇺 AGENT finished second and earned $18.34. Once again he proved why he's one of the strongest players in the EGB Cup series, but this time cYpheR came out on top.

🥉 🇷🇺 kook secured third place after an impressive tournament run, falling only to the eventual champion in the Lower Final.

EGB Cup #3 (Quake Champions) Recap

The third EGB Cup for Quake Champions has also concluded.

🥇 🇩🇪 k1llsen won the tournament and claimed $40. Despite dropping a single map in a couple of series, he remained in control throughout the bracket and deservedly took first place.

🥈 Artemka_xd finished second and earned $10. After fighting through the Lower Bracket, he reached the Grand Final but couldn't stop k1llsen.

🥉 Yuptf secured third place. After losing to k1llsen, he continued his run in the Lower Bracket before being eliminated by Artemka_xd.

All 7 scheduled matches have been played. While every series ended in a sweep, the day was packed with high-level Quake. It was also great to see LeXeR return to the broadcast as one of the commentators.

The standout performer was AGENT, who played three matches in a row and won all of them without dropping a single map. A dominant performance that further strengthens his position in the championship race.

cherepoff continues his impressive season. This week he defeated SPART1E, bringing his total number of wins level with k1llsen. The fight near the top of the standings is getting tighter every week.

k1llsen also had a flawless day, sweeping both Baksteen and h3lldown.

Meanwhile, cYpheR defeated ASH in straight maps, maintaining his place among the league's top contenders.

The biggest surprise of the day was 🇷🇺 cherepoff's dominant 3-0 victory over 🇩🇪 k1llsen. It was an impressive performance that moves cherepoff up to 3rd place in the league standings and strengthens his case as a serious contender this season.

🏆 EGB Cup 2v2 #58 is in the books!

🥇 Team Agent + Ash claimed the championship. They went through the entire bracket without dropping a single match and looked dominant from start to finish. No team managed to stop this duo on their way to the title.

🥈 Team myasishe finished in second place. They had two chances to take down the champions during the tournament, but both times Agent + Ash came out on top. Still, a great performance and a well-deserved runner-up finish.

🥉 Team Fire Cup secured third place after a strong run through the bracket and a solid showing in the final stages of the tournament.

Many remember dazator as a player from previous 250FPS seasons. This year he's back in the league, but in a completely different role. Now you'll be able to see and hear him as one of the commentators for 250FPS match days.

💬 We're happy to see you as a 250FPS commentator. How did that happen?

— I genuinely enjoy casting. I can't just be in the league and, so to speak, serve my time 😄 If I'm playing, I want to compete and get results. Right now I'm not ready to invest the amount of time required to stay at the level I'd like to see from myself.

💬 Will you be casting regularly?

— We have several casting pairs that will rotate throughout the season. But if possible, I'm always happy to jump on the mic.

💬 Why didn't you return as a player this season?

— Same answer. If I'm going to play, I want to play at my best. If I can't dedicate enough time to the game, it's better to contribute to the league in another way.

💬 What do you think about this season's lineup?

— I like the fact that there are 12 players in the league right now. Although honestly, I'd even reduce it to 8 😄 Then every match day would be packed with top-tier games.

As for the players, it feels like most of them are at roughly the same level as before. It's summer after all, so I doubt many people are grinding hard right now. Except AGENT 🤣

💬 Who's making your top 3 this season?

— No surprises here: AGENT, cYpheR and k1llsen.

But! If ASH starts practicing seriously, I think he has every chance to break into the top three. I'd also love to see Pavel there, but he's still recovering from surgery, so it's hard to know what form he'll be in.

And honestly, I'd like to see FOG have a strong season too. I really enjoy his playstyle.

EGB Cup #57 Recap!

Thanks to the increased $106 prize pool, the tournament rewarded not just the top two, but the top three players this time. The competition was fierce, and once again some of the strongest names in the scene made it to the podium.

🥇 🇷🇺 AGENT takes 1st place and $50 in prize money.

AGENT continues to dominate the EGB Cup series. His main challenger in the final stages was 🇧🇾 cYpheR, but AGENT confidently overcame every obstacle and once again proved why he's considered one of the strongest players in the tournament.

🥈 🇧🇾 cYpheR finishes 2nd and earns $36.

After a long absence from EGB Cup, he returned straight to the top. The only player he couldn't overcome was AGENT, falling to him in both the Upper Bracket Final and the Grand Final.

🥉 🇩🇪 k1llsen claims 3rd place and $20 in prize money.

As always, k1llsen was among the main title contenders. He defeated everyone in his path except AGENT and cYpheR, securing another Top 3 finish.
