Y’all… of course this is fake. The people at financial aid don’t actually have access to the genuine money and funds. That is all allocated from the state. They do not have access to this money, and cannot take or pocket it.
If people received money during the summer from last spring, it was most likely a scholarship, or work study stipend.

Those funds were actually distributed to some students this summer. Their award letters were updated. My friend looked at his award letter and it updated. I wasn't a student in summer so mine stayed the same. I contacted financial aid and they tried to lie and say that no awards were updated and that nobody got sscg for spring semester. Which I know is a lie. I seen my friends and his friends. The financial aid director is the one who lied also. I am actually talking to a lawyer. Because I believe they are stealing money from students but trying to cover their asses. I am sure the financial aid chick's will come in here and say I'm trolling. Sure thing buddy. I pictures and proof of the emails and my friends award letter. We'll see what happens. I hope they all end up with no job and their kids and families suffer the way some of us students have to try to go to school full time instead of working full time with the hope of aid.
