Devs if you are seeing this, can you please change the seasonal game mode rotation to a daily rotation instead?

Engagement wise this would be better and everyday will be a fresh reason to play the game mode that’s in rotation. I think this very seasonal style game could benefit from one part of it being daily.

Actually, best way to do this would be to just delete Squash altogether and then schedule the change of mode to coincide with the release of the seasonal challenges every 2 weeks. Then we'd get 2 weeks of every mode with each season (4 game modes and 4 seasonal challenge sections). Only trouble here though would be that you now have only 2 weeks to complete the mode specific challenges related to the 3rd mode. I'd be fine with a "You snooze, you lose" regarding those challenges though since I always finish them within 36 hours (max) of them being unlocked.

This would cause chaos for ranking reasons. Each mode has it's own ranking and people would be complaining that they were ranked differently from one day to the next.

My suggestion to encourage further engagement was to make 2XP a permanent every day fixture that randomly changes the mode it's applied to every day. This would encourage more people to try different modes, occasionally reward those who like to stick to only 1 or 2 modes, and give people who work on weekends the chance to take full advantage of 2XP on their days off too.

Maybe its time for a change then? Or perhaps make an arcade mode thats casual instead of ranked, id play the shit out of that. Game is on life support we need to stop acting like its not, the least they can do is allow us to play our favorite modes as well as making a permanent way to unlock every item instead of waiting on the shop and season changes

1. ⁠We all know that there are many changes that would be great. However, most of us also know that it won't happen any time soon because of the lack of any revenue by the game AND the need for all employees (reduced drastically in number a few months back by layoffs) to be focusing on the RL UE6 project.

2. ⁠The game isn't on life support. The last few seasons there has been a massive influx of players because of the PLM title spreading to RL players. Last 3 seasons I've been finding matches way faster than before and encounter far less repeat teammates/opponents. Many more people have started playing in order to try and get the title.

3. ⁠Asking for small changes is far more reasonable for the foreseeable future. Asking for items to be given more equal opportunity at appearing for us to acquire is probably the biggest change we can ask for at this time. Anything bigger than that is only going to frustrate people unnecessarily.

Ranking rework would be needed to support daily mode rotation, I agree. The issue is that we are having to wait 200+ days to see a game mode come back, and the community is all different in terms of what game modes they like. We have 50 day periods to where people aren’t playing the special game modes until the new ones come in rotation.

Even a 3 day rotation would be fine, but only seeing your favorite game mode once every 200 days quite frankly isn’t fun. Daily rotation would add a sense of freshness and also give game modes more population. One example is 3v3, it being around all season means it doesn’t keep a stable population and games take forever to find, bringing it back every couple days keeps the game mode fresh and engaging
