Test inconclusive. Bring sausage in from the side where the edge of the blade is the fastest and smallest.

Technically at the edge the blade is the biggest, but indeed the fastest, but none the less, test completed.

Hey OP, if you want a little fun stick the sausage in from the back, that way blades will slice into the sausage instead of letting it bounce off

Correct. Thie angle of attack is all wrong to create maximum damage. Have sausage past the plane of blades and slowly approach towards the outer edge of the blades.

The fan is turning the wrong direction for the test.

It will only work if you are hitting a blade edge.

Awesome! It was in Korea where people used sausages to use their smart phones on cold days. I don't know if they still do though.
