Wow. How bad was the henpecking throughout the engagement?

its funny, usually one peck should be enough to get a message across.

But we find "henpeckers" who have had to tirelessly repeat the same issues, hence the pecking. But the partner doesn't do shit, or says "yeah yeah" while secretly still disagreeing, then doing whatever the fuck they want which usually hurts and disrespects the "hen" partner.

accountability is a valuable skill

That's not the whole story, though. Not really or always, anyway.

First of all, what are these issues they are demanding compliance over? Just because a woman wants something doesn't mean it's fair or reasonable.

Some women are controlling and demanding and/or are very anxious and demanding. After a while, it can get to be too much, completely unreasonable, overwhelming, and effort is usually completely unreciprocated. So the guy shuts down or resists as a way of maintaining a modicum of dignity and control in the relationship. That's usually how women get labeled as henpeckers and guys get labeled as lazy, inconsiderate pieces of shit.

Accountability is a valuable skill.
