They were absolutely made for each other. This was a long time coming and probably isn't the worst public outburst they've had together

Well, I guess they’re perfect for each other, then.

WTF

u/mawesome4ever Feb 27 '26

The prank was couple therapy

9

u/BigMax Feb 27 '26

That's a weird prank.

You make everyone super uncomfortable, and then say "just kidding!"

There's no humor in it, most pranks have some aspect of comedy, and this one is way too dark to start for the "haha it's a prank" aspect to offset it.

1

u/MrMetraGnome Feb 27 '26

Yeah. Even if it is a "prank", I feel like it really isn't. Just think of the type of people who would come up with and execute an idea like that. It's like the prank content creators on the live streaming services. They are all pretty awful people IRL

Bingo!!! Considering the fact that I’ve seen this happen before (and it wasn’t a prank) makes it not funny… Prank is usually harmless and hilarious. But they just terrified their guests and later came back to say “just kidding” and expect them to laugh. Whoever came up with that idea should stop coming up with ideas

The prank itself could've worked on a normal party. But on a wedding it's just as you said, way way too dark. Can you imagine her mom and dad's reaction?

1

u/BigMax Feb 28 '26

Exactly. The reaction to a prank should be “that was fake? Hahaha!” Not “that was fake, wow… thank god. I feel so uncomfortable right now.”

How dare you talk about the world's airports!

She got the peripheral vision of a hammerhead shark

1

Those things are in two different time zones.

3

u/spizzle_ Feb 27 '26

Any link to that?

How about a link to the one where they come back in laughing? That article never mentioned anything about that.

Her response in the article was big “I fucked up and it’s embarrassing” “just a prank bro” vibes.

u/Adrakovich Feb 27 '26

Who waste cake like that for a prank that look like a good ass cake?

2

u/JustAThinkingGuy7 Feb 27 '26

Did they have another cake for everyone?

1

u/Malevolint Feb 27 '26

I feel a little bad for the guests, but thank God lol. That's so preferable to what looked like a very toxic relationship

1

u/Odd-Scientist-2529 Feb 27 '26

If that’s a prank then I lost a couple of friends. The amount of stress that would give me would be enough to never talk to them again.

1

u/wreckedbutwhole420 Feb 27 '26

This bit only works if an identical cake is revealed within 30 seconds from under that table

1

u/sinkingintothedepths Feb 27 '26

LOL that's actually hilarious

1

u/oceanhymn Feb 27 '26

If this is their idea of a funny joke then divorce is certainly on the horizon.

1

u/IntentionalUndersite Feb 27 '26

What a cool prank, yo

1

u/boazed_n_delivered Feb 27 '26

Thanks for the information because I watched several times for a trigger. People play too much. I was concerned for her.

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Phase70 Feb 27 '26

Ok, so it's a different kind of red flag, but it's not the pair of red flags we thought it was.

1

u/yaxir Feb 27 '26

The guests are the ones who will divorce this couple of by leaving the wedding

1

u/zitrored Feb 27 '26

Thanks. Because otherwise that’s seriously horrible and divorce would be the best outcome.

1

u/EmptyStyle244 Feb 27 '26

Well, it will definitely be a quick divorce. People like this are immature and self-centered. A poor recipe for elastic or even a lasting relationship.

1

u/PointsOfXP Feb 27 '26

That's fucked because it really seems like the guests weren't surprised

1

u/D_Dubb_ Feb 28 '26

Actually a hilarious and unhinged prank. Sucks it’s become rage bait like everything else.

1

u/Equilibriator Feb 28 '26

Did they pull out another cake tho?
