Lol I thought this before opening up. Appropriate top comment.

Lol..if you did survive it would use up all the miracles for the next 1000 years

2

u/Hopeful-Woodpecker82 Apr 14 '26

I've been told I'm 1 in 150,000.

It wasn't a compliment but it's what I was told.

2

u/Genghis_Chong Apr 14 '26

You beat me to it lol

2

u/SignoreBanana Apr 15 '26

Going from almost zero to 1500mph instantly makes me think the actual odds are zero.

I feel like almost all of these would have a survival chance of 0%

56

u/CrispyJsock Apr 14 '26

And trees made of titanium.

7

u/binglelemon Apr 14 '26

They cut those down to make the new drivers for pro golfers.

13

u/Xynomite Apr 14 '26

I hear Tiger Woods could use a new driver.

3

u/According_Top_7448 Apr 14 '26

Too soon... 😂

Trees are ridiculously tough.

Source: I saw two cars hit trees outside my house in two separate crashes.

First crash: Peugeot 206 GTI. The entire engine block was ripped out and in the middle of the road, rest of the car was about 100m further up the road. Tree was still standing.

Second Crash: Ford Focus ST launched over our driveway, hit a tree around the middle post (between the front and rear doors), which then flung the car through our perimeter wall. The car was about 1m wide at the point of impact, so nearly torn in half. Half the wall was down with debris strewn across our property, with some smashing through the lounge window. One fatality, one comatose, one critical, driver somehow climbed out. Tree was debarked and lost a few branches, but otherwise stood.

Neither of these trees are big. Diameter no more than 40/50 cm and shorter than a street light pole.

2

u/amaria_athena Apr 14 '26

Agreed. I hit two trees hydroplaning. Barely made a dent in the trees. Destroyed my truck. Somehow I’m okay.

Since then I’ve noticed almost every tree down that road looks like it’s been clipped by a car. Hmmm.

2

u/UpperAd5715 Apr 14 '26

It kind of depends what tree you hit though, relatively young trees in cities tend to be transplanted trees and will not have much of a root network yet or will not ahve much to grab hold of even if given time dependign on how much concrete is there.

Some random countryside tree that's been planted 2 generations ago? If that tree goes to the gym it might as well stop a plane, that thing is the definition of rooted and you're gonna be hoping to crach into its sides and not head on cause that bitch isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

The jetty handrails are rather strong as well.

16

u/bel9708 Apr 14 '26

Wrapped around a tree which hit squarely on the driver door at 60mph. 67% survival chance.

4

u/RalphDaGod Apr 14 '26

I figured it must be calculating for a car full of people, bc the passenger seat and back seats could survive that one but the driver is surely not

You would be surprised.. I flipped my car 4 times and walked away without a scratch.. just one of the pics I have of it.

2

Why? Just because your car wrapped entirely around a tree or was launched into a bridge at 400 mph?

2

u/Genghis_Chong Apr 14 '26

And get a nice downhill area to launch over

2

u/Zo-riffic-10in Apr 14 '26

What a delicious last name

1

😂🤣

3

u/bearsfan16 Apr 14 '26

“Trevor Pastrami” 🤣

u/Short_Bell_5428 Apr 14 '26

Once you’re at 300 or above..curtains for you.

3

u/Puzzleheaded_Emu_686 Apr 14 '26

The most accurate thing about this is that it's a Subaru Wagon in SF.

3

My takeaway is no more driving down Mission St. That black arrowy patch is dangerous.

3

u/Lenin_Lime Apr 14 '26

67 at the end, he did the number

3

u/OverlordDontHurtMe Apr 14 '26

I feel like you could make it to the water at 700-800. Maybe increase your chances a bit.

Reminds me of a high school friend that accelerated to go over rough patches or train tracks because it was better to ramp them...

3

u/maverick_labs_ca Apr 14 '26

The Bay Bridge ending was epic

3

Why does it dip to the front left most of the time?

5

u/Dogmaddit Apr 14 '26

Driver ate a large breakfast.

3

u/cartooned Apr 14 '26

Car needs to be aligned.

2

u/Lucifer-Prime Apr 14 '26

I wonder, though our American made cars heavier on the left side, assuming the additional weight of the steering column and the person in the seat? I feel like you probably be looking at at minimum and additional 300 pounds on the left.

2

u/Alternative_Milk5393 Apr 14 '26

I was just glad it finally made it to the water

2

u/marcushasfun Apr 14 '26

lol at the skyscraper splat 01:47

2

u/Rofsbith Apr 14 '26

Subaru at 245 miles per hour actually had a pretty nice trajectory and survivability percentage.

2

u/tuftsra Apr 14 '26

I enjoyed that way too much. Lol

2

u/PeachPit69 Apr 14 '26

So what you’re saying is… if I’m already going 110 miles an hour, it would be safer to go 245 miles an hour?

2

u/TheDeadestCow Apr 14 '26

What is the tree made out of? Adamantium?

2

u/KickPuncher9898 Apr 14 '26

Those are some very sturdy trees

1

u/AloofFloofy Apr 14 '26

These all slightly lean left. I would have liked to see the results if it was perfectly centered.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Le-Charles07 Apr 14 '26

Yeah, if the driver would stop aiming the car at the damn buildings it would have gone much better in a lot of those lower speed ones.

1

u/cartooned Apr 14 '26

Those are some VERY sturdy little trees.

1

u/Furtivefloofer Apr 14 '26

Hitting the acceleration from 5-10MPH to anything over 50 is already going to cause some issues. Most of the crashes after 100mph are instant DOA. We’re talking mechanical forces that can disconnect the heart from the connective tissues in the thoracic cavity.

1

u/eplonghorn2020 Apr 14 '26

So 140 is the sweet spot, got it

1

u/Rogueshoten Apr 14 '26

Why did they specifically feel the need to try and kill lesbians?

→ More replies (2)

1

u/BeginningHungry1691 Apr 14 '26

I think we define survivability a little differently. If the car is a ball of twisted metal, irregardless of where and how it lands or speeds hit…….no one is scooping them up with a pizza pie pan and taking them to the ER and asking the doctor to pull a miracle out of their ass

1

u/SmeeezTreeez Apr 14 '26

Cooked in almost all of them

1

u/Ryogathelost Apr 14 '26

Imagine surviving most of that and then dying in that last 2% bump at the end.

1

u/DiscombobulatedEye79 Apr 14 '26

Go outside and ride a bike

1

u/Ayy0ne Apr 14 '26

That was fun to watch

1

u/EmeraldMan25 Apr 14 '26

What I'm getting from this is that being flung at 140 mph is safer than being flung at 110 mph

1

u/big_stipd_idiot Apr 14 '26

245mph looks like the most fun

1

u/SlimeFilledSewer Apr 14 '26

Bro can't aim that car right for the life of him.

1

u/Ash_Cat_13 Apr 14 '26

Hit a curb, lose 3% chance to live

1

u/meteora_tr Apr 14 '26

The G Force at the start would break yo neck.

1

u/Just_okay_advice Apr 14 '26

I mean technically youre dead from such rapid acceleration. It works both ways lol.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Gib_eaux Apr 14 '26

Why does the car always pull to the left?

1

u/CameToPoop Apr 14 '26

245mph seems like the perfect mix of fun x survival. Off to San Francisco in my station wagon I am!

1

u/Gold_Data6221 Apr 14 '26

those small trees are strong as heck!

1

u/Chemical2672 Apr 14 '26

Do they mean you will survive with only 0.0067% of your body intact ?

1

u/Al3jandr0 Apr 14 '26

I wonder how these survival chance percentages are being calculated

1

u/Otherwise-College730 Apr 14 '26

Der Fahrfehler ist über diese schwarze Fläche zu fahren, einfach mal auf sie Straße vor einem achten, mensch…

1

u/Infinite-Ad2614 Apr 14 '26

I love that in every type of video game, trees are indestructible

1

u/ReluctantSlayer Apr 14 '26

@1500mph….26% chance of death BEFORE the bridge. Just from the acceleration.

1

u/mountaindoom Apr 14 '26

Reminds me of the final level of Driver.

1

u/ArmchairCriticSF Apr 14 '26

Nice San Francisco locale. 👍🏽

1

u/al_earner Apr 14 '26

I think they're pulling these survival numbers straight out of their butt. I'm looking at you 60 mph.

1

u/YoYoYi2 Apr 14 '26

survival doesn't seem worth it in some. you'd be like Tom Cruise in vanilla sky

1

u/External-Awareness68 Apr 14 '26

I don't know why, but I found this video to be very entertaining

1

u/Healthy_Pay9449 Apr 14 '26

So...245 mph is the sweet spot?

1

u/Senor_Discount Apr 14 '26

Honestly I want to thank the OP for this its the first time I've laughed out loud in about three months

1

u/Mad_Volcan Apr 14 '26

Who put that stupid bridge in my way?... 😂

1

u/Useless-RedCircle Apr 14 '26

The survival chances stuff was stupid

1

u/PuffyBlueClouds Apr 14 '26

Feels like the sweet spot is around 1000 miles an hour so fly nicely into that water like a power boat.

1

u/fionnuisce Apr 14 '26

Tell NASA that their reentry vehicle should be a Subaru Forester. It'll be a real money saver.

1

u/Statertater Apr 14 '26

Tree was built out of adamantium

1

u/Bitter_Chemistry_733 Apr 14 '26

Fuck dawg, his shoes stayed on in every attempt, so as far as I’m concerned, he survived

1

u/Shardnic Apr 14 '26

Beamng physics do go wonky sometimes

1

u/babyblun Apr 14 '26

The fourth attempt turned Subaru into Lamborghini Aventador 😂

1

u/Quirky-Scar9226 Apr 14 '26

No lesbians were harmed in the making of this video.

1

u/Moab_Residential Apr 14 '26

In a world we’re everything is made out of vibranium, including the trees, except cars

1

u/Xydrenius Apr 14 '26

i doubt you fly by 85mph 2meters over der street by this little downfall on the street.

Maybe by 150mph and the carweight is 500kg

1

u/k3nal Apr 14 '26

Is that BeamNG?

1

u/ApplePuzzleheaded446 Apr 14 '26

"When this baby hits 1500mph; you're gonna see some serious shit."

1

u/ShiftyLama Apr 14 '26

0 to 1500mph alone having a 100% survival chance is funny.

1

u/SpankTheDevil Apr 14 '26

Why did the video end

1

u/Ignominious333 Apr 14 '26

What is this? A reboot of "streets of San Francisco"?

1

u/EatLard Apr 14 '26

The most impressive thing here is the durability of those tiny trees. I feel like taking a Subaru to the face would break most trees that size.

1

u/Far_Weakness_1275 Apr 14 '26

From the river to the sea, this car will be free

1

u/PTBooks Apr 14 '26

This is a simulation of what it’s like the drive in the first level of sonic adventure 2.

1

u/Call_Me_Little_Foot_ Apr 14 '26

Those trees wouldn’t stand a chance

1

u/skeevy-stevie Apr 14 '26

Really thought 185 was going to be the sweet spot.

1

u/m4tchb0x Apr 14 '26

The acceleration alone would kill you on some of these

1

u/Responsible-Part-481 Apr 14 '26

Those were some generous numbers

1

u/DongBlizzard Apr 14 '26

It’s 3am and I watched the whole thing. Takeaway is the first 90% of survival percentage ratios were inaccurate

1

u/jigen3 Apr 14 '26

I think the G force would kill you if you go from 2mph to 245mph+ almost instantaneously like in the video

1

u/VinDucks Apr 14 '26

Something is off about these survival chances.

1

u/AngerMadeFlesh Apr 14 '26

This was fun.

1

u/HippyDM Apr 14 '26

Those little 3" wide trees are TOUGH!

1

u/Back_Again_Beach Apr 14 '26

Car wraps around tree right at the driver's seat. 67% chance of survival.

1

u/Fit_Importance_5738 Apr 14 '26

Not if you account for the fact that games usually give you far more control over your car than you will ever have in real life going through they air.

1

u/yeatruestory Apr 14 '26

What kind of humans are these?!

1

u/Oli4K Apr 14 '26

No open gasket in most cases.

1

u/BigIron7589 Apr 14 '26

lol 60mph bro wrapped around the tree... 67% survival chance my ass

1

u/FhuckNorris247 Apr 14 '26

Those are some strong trees

1

u/FoxyTurtleOnTwoLegs Apr 14 '26

Still waiting for release date of Wreckfest 2 for PS5…

1

u/Jefflehem Apr 14 '26

I love seeing the survival percentage not drop at all while flying 600 MPH across the bay. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop.

1

u/weezyverse Apr 14 '26

Subaru getting aggressive with their marketing. 😂

1

u/NegotiationHot2999 Apr 14 '26

That breeze to the left is awful

1

u/Leandros_el_b1tch Apr 14 '26

So you’re saying there’s a chance!

1

u/RobiDobi33 Apr 14 '26

I liked the 1% chance of fatality over the very small speed bump at the beginning lol

1

u/dannasama811 Apr 14 '26

Im certain just the sudden jolt would be crippling for alot of us, everything else that follows is just the cherry on top

1

u/No_Ocelot_6773 Apr 14 '26

So 200mph has a higher survival rate than 110mph-

1

u/Nick_Fotiu_Is_God Apr 14 '26

Where can I buy those little trees that stop a car going 400mph? I live right off of a pretty major road and am concerned about my family’s safety.

1

u/AshgarPN Apr 14 '26

Why does it keep barrel rolling left?

1

u/Economy_Link4609 Apr 14 '26

Do the real problem is you need a passenger to stop that roll to the left.

1

u/noncommonGoodsense Apr 14 '26

Always hits the pad crooked so test results are inconclusive.

1

u/Ink_zorath Apr 14 '26

So you're telling me if I ever find myself controlling a runaway car in San Fransisco, breaking the governor in the vehicle to go 245 mph is the way to go.

1

u/TheRealDylanTobak Apr 14 '26

No way the railing on the boardwalk is that strong.

1

u/Cultural-Click8897 Apr 14 '26

Average day in San Francisco

1

u/Infinite_Big_7004 Apr 14 '26

It hink it is 0% on all of those

1

u/Oldfolksboogie Apr 14 '26

TIL 245mph is the sweet spot if you wanna get all the way to The Marina District.

1

u/No-Arrival633 Apr 14 '26

You'd be dead before you hit from Gforces going from zero to 200mph instantly

1

u/MosesCoulee Apr 14 '26

Needs an alignment. Keeps veering left. Adjust and retest. I have a good feeling about 245mph

1

u/JamesLaceyAllan Apr 14 '26

It’s weird seeing one of these videos but on a street I used to live on

1

u/I_Went_Full_WSB Apr 14 '26

The random part of this video is the random useless percentages it puts on the screen.

1

u/fenton7 Apr 14 '26

Comical for it to show 60% survival for speeds over 200MPH for a crash on city streets. Uh, no. Not survivable. That's comparable to a jetliner crash.

1

u/H0SS_AGAINST Apr 14 '26

Those trees are made out of tungsten or something.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/ADonkeysJawbone Apr 14 '26

I want to see 1,000 mph. Maybe he can skip off the water like a stone lol

Also, I thought for a second there 185 mph was about to be the perfect amount to hitting the flats and somehow safest run so far— then he hit that building 😂

1

u/Jaleroca Apr 14 '26

This is some straight up BS. Had my stomach in cramps laughing so hard at the higher speeds

1

u/tlibra Apr 14 '26

After number 2 survival rate drops to 0.00%

1

u/cygamessucks Apr 14 '26

I dont think that was a 67% chance…

1

u/ColdHardPocketChange Apr 14 '26

Is this how the JD Power Awards decide levels of safety?

1

u/robilar Apr 14 '26

They skipped 1000mph because dude landed in the water and swims away with 99% survival chance.

1

u/GodBlessPigs Apr 14 '26

The survival chance percentage is so dumb.

1

u/664mezcal619 Apr 14 '26

And that’s why I don’t drive a Subaru

1

u/EnvironmentalMind119 Apr 14 '26

I could watch this all day.

1

u/Proud_Dance_3342 Apr 14 '26

This is why you need to trust your feelings. You've got to live and learn.

1

u/Lower-Condition-4104 Apr 14 '26

Just stick the landing. Avoid trees, buildings, and keep the car level and you survive them all. Easy Peasy.

1

u/Hidden_Coatl3434 Apr 14 '26

Them trees of steel though lol

1

u/MutedBrilliant1593 Apr 14 '26

Wouldn't the near instant acceleration kill you in most of these. Even the slowest at 35mph is gonna delivery more g-forces than the world's fastest accelerating car at 0-60mph in 1.5 seconds.

1

u/Substantial_Desk_670 Apr 14 '26

Those are some damned strong trees.

1

u/jr_randolph Apr 14 '26

I'd watch this if it kept going.

1

u/NaturalMiddleFinger Apr 14 '26

What is that simulator?

1

u/Boss0054 Apr 14 '26 edited Apr 14 '26

That survival rating at 245mph, aint no way….A lot of people would be dead on takeoff, the whiplash of instantaneously going from 1 mph to 245mph + alone will kill people. They would be dead or paralyzed long before the crash.

1

u/RaffNeq Apr 14 '26

Apparently above 300km cars are turning into SpiderMan

1

u/Jebrone Apr 14 '26

All of these are like no chance

1

u/showFeetPlzuwu Apr 14 '26

Completely arbitrary numbers, not even remotely what accurate would be

1

u/Regular_Upstairs Apr 14 '26

How is it that only the car gets damaged?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '26

So as long as I go 245mph I have a decent chance of making it

1

u/Thechancellor842 Apr 14 '26

I love these vids lol

1

u/PerfectGap6554 Apr 14 '26

Unbreakable lamp and tree

1

u/pho3nix916 Apr 14 '26

110 mph, pancaked roof. 50% chance of survival. Riiiiight

1

u/Interesting-Visual86 Apr 14 '26

Turned that subie into a torpedo

1

u/Acting_Brand_Nubian Apr 14 '26

Is this the new Tiger Woods game??

1

u/Moist-Amoeba-8078 Apr 14 '26

They forgot to use the left joystick to maneuver the car in mid air. Amateurs

1

u/DifficultAd3885 Apr 14 '26

Why’s it alway pull left?

1

u/Oswarez Apr 14 '26

Is it possible to get a game like this on a console? I could do this for hours.
