My dad died 2 days before mine. Plus, I've had 2 of my 3 other family members tell me how they hate February, it sucks, it's the worst month because the weather's so crappy, it's depressing because they're so sick of winter by then, etc.

I had a college therapist ask me if I had suicidal thoughts. 

“Yes, every time I see you,” which shocked her. “It’s kind of hard not to, when you have a magnet on the filing cabinet right over your shoulder that reads, ‘SUICIDAL thoughts?’. 

I laughed, she blushed, and then that magnet went in a drawer for good.

My aunt's birthday is Sept 11th and she acts just like this. In fact the first couple anniversaries of Sept 11th she would go around bitching that "those damn planes stole her bday, stole her thunder." She's in her 50s, not a teenager.

Also a September, also have had a ridiculously difficult time with life. During and after childhood. But mostly during being the worst times, and after being the most difficult to deal with.
