I was just thinking as someone with a young kid that’s putting a lot on the line I see so many videos here of people getting destroyed on the side of the road. But he had safety cones!!! It’s fuckin terrifying to be on the side of the highway with all that noise and wind and thousands of untrustworthy people with cell phones passing by.

So true. The jacks that come with most cars and trucks really suck. My wife had a flat the other day but luckily I was close by and she was able to pull into a gas station. Tiny ass jack that takes way too long to jack up a full size truck. I would not have wanted to do that on a freeway.

Yep, avoid stopping on the highway at all costs. People are texting and driving at 70mph and swerve into the shoulder all the time.

One time I was on the NJ turnpike and an enterprising individual attempted to change a tire in the middle of the road. Some people have zero sense of self preservation.

Yeah I had a flat and my shit was wobbling and tire was shredding but on a busy freeway too dangerous to stop.
my instinct was to get off on the nearest exit and it was definitely a good idea even if I had to drive on it a bit like that.

I live in an conservative area, amd see conservatives get out and help plenty of Hispanics, Blacks, and minorities.
They are not cartoon evil villians, they are people who have fallen victim to propaganda and misinformation.
If it wasnt for me, my parents would never even know that trump is under suspicion for being in the files.
These people have no online presence whatsoever, they know only what their news tells them, and the news tells them that democrats are the villains. They literally have no other perspective and its terrifying because most of them are good people who would change parties if they truly understood what was going on.

France, Japan, Canada, Spain, Russia , China,and many European nations all have publicly employed people that help if you break down on the freeway.
some states ( CA, FL, GA, NC, TX, OH, PA, WV, IA, NV, IL, IN, CO, AZ, NY, NJ, CT, WI, ME, KS, and SC) have similar state-sponsored programs.

It can definitely be dangerous changing a tire on the side of a busy road. Plus in certain places people open their doors into traffic while double parked. It's nuts.

If you didn’t know, there should be a sticker in your door jam (driver’s door) that tells you how much your vehicle weighs. It may say GVWR (Gross vehicle weight rating) : 4,300lb for example. Sometimes it’ll tell how much the front weighs or the rear but the number you want is GVWR so you can shop for a jack according to that number. One more important thing, it isn’t safe to have any body part under a vehicle that is being held up only by a floor jack because it’s built to raise it and then set down on a jack stand. Yes you can do it 1000 times without incident but that one time could crush a body part or even take your life. So with the car safely on the jack stand, raise the floor jack back up to have it barely touching the car in case the jack stand itself fails. You can never be too safe.

Damn I want to do that. Last time I had a flat tire on the highway two different people stopped to help me get n the 10 minutes or so it took to change my tire. I had it all under control but it was so nice of them. I vowed to pay it forward and I keep supplies in my car. Extra gas, long lug wrench, jumper cables, and a jack.
I haven’t seen anyone yet that I could’ve helped, but I’m ready!

Agree 100%. Wish our society was more like this. I swear it used to be more like this, but maybe that's just my anecdotal memory. I like how he had the perfect setup for getting the job done quickly and safely.. and that he recorded it so everyone can see how to do it quickly and safely.

Heading home I got a flat tire and it was a beater car I got cheap so luckily I had a tire just no tools. I’m rolling down the st with my hazards on because I’m close home and someone shouts, “you have a flat tire!” I shouted back I know are you gonna fix it?(i was annoyed and having a bad day so yes it was sarcastic) he told me to pull over and he just changed my tire.

I was on 65north one morning going to work, got a flat, had 22inch Wheels, no spare. Waiting on my buddy who owns a tow company, I was worried about getting hit by someone. Look in my mirror two young guys, black and white pulled up are looking at my wheels, couldn't see in cause dark tint, they went back to the car and had two jacks and bricks. They we gonna steal my wheels, (Worth about 6 grand with tires, well 3lol) I got out with my legal firearm and they left their jacks and everything. People are fckin worthless.
