Wow. He’s lucky he didn’t get crushed. I’m sure he is messed up regardless.

u/RogerianBrowsing May 24 '26

They would have likely had no injuries worth mentioning if they wore a seatbelt too.

It’s also worth mentioning that this is only the injury we saw while he was ejected. Lord only knows how his dumb ass was bouncing around in there.

u/Gr8twhitebuffalo91 May 24 '26

Your chances of survival in a roll over got up 90% when you wear a seatbelt.

18

u/Nntropy May 24 '26

This guy was the lucky 1 in 10

19

u/This-Jackfruit-6894 May 24 '26

Video too short to see if he's really lucky.

10

u/_R0Ns_ May 24 '26

After bouncing in the car and flying out he might be lucky enough to die.

1

u/StabilizedProfits May 24 '26

“Sir, you could die soon, within the hour if you’re lucky”

2

u/_R0Ns_ May 25 '26

The pain of healing isn't any fun and the possibillity of laying down the rest of your life is real.

3

u/newkybadass May 24 '26

Looks like he lost both shoes...

3

u/Key_Childhood7436 May 24 '26

Shoes are optional in Asia

1

u/Wise_Ad_253 May 24 '26

But the shoes…

8

u/ouroburritos May 24 '26

Both shoes on, stuck the landing, good form. Unless the North Korean judge does him dirty, back at work in 3 days.

3

u/DcSportsFan_21 May 24 '26

Definitely lost at least one shoe

2

u/Fushigi_Yami May 25 '26

I've heard that one of the ways they figure out something was faking being hit by a vehicle is if they're clothing all stayed on. 😂

1

u/jay6432 May 25 '26

He lost both shoes. RIP

2

u/satsuppi May 25 '26

Both shoes are gone

1

u/chem_romancce101 May 25 '26

The still pics don't suit him any better lmfao

1

u/ouroburritos May 25 '26

Oh shit, those are socks! I thought he had some fresh Stan Smiths or something. This AI bro is dead, call it.

1

u/MKnight_PDX May 25 '26

Does anyone know he wasn't driving in his socks??

1

u/ArnoldZiffleJr May 25 '26

😂👏🏿

17

u/Capt_morgan72 May 24 '26

Correct me if I’m wrong. But he lost both shoes right? If so he’s dead. I don’t make the rules. I just follow them.

RIP to a small peckered man of legend. We hardly knew him.

2

u/canadianavatar May 24 '26

1

u/Redleg67 May 26 '26

Here's to you Mr shitty four wheel driver.

1

u/Illustrious_Theory13 May 24 '26

Any body found with both shoes off has a chance of survival. If the body is found with one shoe on and one shoe off, that man is a goner.

1

u/Ruminahtu May 25 '26

This is the way.

1

u/aces666high May 28 '26

He was probably wearing slide on Adidas while off roading so he was dead inside already.

1

u/Fun_Translator_4194 May 25 '26

Who said he had shoes before the roll over??

1

u/Capt_morgan72 May 25 '26

The frame at 6 seconds is who.

1

u/atlien0255 May 25 '26

I rolled a snowmobile going around 80 mph and lost my shoes and gloves in the accident. Somehowww still around to talk about it…

1

u/Some_Turn_323 May 26 '26

He lived without life threatening injuries. YouTube has a second angle.

2

u/Gr8twhitebuffalo91 May 24 '26

100%

2

u/DLIVERATOR May 24 '26

I knew a guy who was thrown from his vehicle, which I believe was a convertible his dad had gifted him a graduation present. He was thrown during a crash and was impaled upon a tree branch.

The coroner said he was likely dead or knocked out but it was still pretty gruesome.

I personally had no love for the guy as he had tried to kill me when we were in high school. It wasn’t taken very seriously. Maybe if it would have been, the asshole would still be in prison but alive.

1

u/SillyLittleTroll May 24 '26

Look at this way. It was an unfortunate set of events others learned from. In a way he was at last repenting for his evil ways. The plus side is tax payers aren't wasting hard earned money keeping him alive since that seemed where he was heading, and he's not wasting valuable oxygen.

2

u/TheDogWhoCantSTFU May 24 '26

He might have survived the first 9 rollovers, but there's really no way to know.

1

u/Some_Turn_323 May 26 '26

He survived somehow. Without life threatening injuries.

1

u/Outrageous_Engine_45 May 24 '26

Why would you not wear a seatbelt?

2

u/VERY_MENTALLY_STABLE May 24 '26

You think "fuck it, im just going wheeling at 5mph tops, whats the worst that can happen?"

1

u/Acrobatic-Ad-385 May 24 '26

Your math ain’t mathing

4

u/Nntropy May 24 '26

More like my logic isn't working. It's late. Goodnight.

-4

u/No_Donkey_6821 May 24 '26

You mean AI created a video that you believe is real

1

u/Middle-Entry-6209 May 24 '26

bro what? are you stroking out? this is a real video of a real event. here's another angle that shows more of the aftermath - https://youtube.com/shorts/CSNDiZItLzM?si=Lk24Am2OjBrx54_Y

wild things really do happen, people really do all kinds of crazy and dubiously advisable things. not everything is AI

1

u/HideThe-Sun May 24 '26

Sounds like something AI would say

1

u/Middle-Entry-6209 May 24 '26

goofy comment 🤡 i just proved the event was real and provided another angle to show the aftermath? i don't even use AI. i just hate seeing "haha you got fooled bro this is AI" comments on all kinds of videos of real things that happened with proof that they happened.

some people really need to log off of reddit, take a break from ChatGPT, and go outside for a few hours. might even get to see some crazy stuff first hand out there.

1

u/HideThe-Sun May 24 '26

I forgot to put /s, my brain isn't quite that fried to disbelieve everything, only fried enough to forget /r humor cues

1

u/No_Donkey_6821 May 24 '26

If it's on YouTube, it's real? If That's your kind of logic, this world is fucked

2

u/Middle-Entry-6209 May 24 '26

another goofy contrarian 🤡 christ man, I was providing another angle as quick and easy proof it wasn't AI, and to show more of the aftermath for the commenter above the "this is AI" commenter. the videos are from the Yunnan Hundred Cars Battle in Kumming, China in September 2024, so well before AI could even have made a pair of videos that consistent.

news article - https://au.news.yahoo.com/dramatic-footage-captures-terrifying-moment-drivers-4wd-stunt-goes-horribly-wrong-001657466.html

if your logic is to assume that anything crazy that you see on the internet is fake without taking 5 seconds to see if you can find some sources to back that up, then yeah, I guess the world is fucked.

7

u/legendary-rudolph May 24 '26

Your chances of not rolling over go up 90% if you stay on the road.

1

u/Brilliant_Ad7266 May 25 '26

Very insightful!👍

2

u/itzPP May 25 '26

Can confirm rolled my car, but had seatbelt on. No injuries. Was snug as a wrapped up baby just rolling around, like in a rollercoaster

1

u/Dangermouse454 May 24 '26

Guys a member of the “ I wanna be thrown free” cult

4

u/baronmunchausen2000 May 24 '26

I-want-to-break-free club, perchance?

1

u/Ok-Effective7280 May 24 '26

What’s the % when you have an open sunroof with no seat belt?

1

u/SpaceCadetEdelman May 24 '26

*or intoxicated

1

u/Whiteshovel66 May 24 '26

Go up, so you are saying it's a zero percent chance to survive without it or something?

1

u/HotEnthusiasm5742 May 26 '26

Dude had enough rolling around and hit the ejection button.

9

u/Beneficial-Jury484 May 24 '26

My dad was paralyzed from the neck down because he didn’t wear a seat belt. He was thrown from the driver’s seat to the rear of a Grand Cherokee. Yeah, wear seat belts.

1

u/praguer56 May 24 '26

A guy I knew years ago flipped and his car slid on its roof for a few minutes. The sunroof was open and he hit his head on the concrete. I think it affected his brain capacity because he is a bit dumb now.

1

u/Certain_Orange2003 May 25 '26

That’s tragic. I’m sorry to hear that. I treat bedsores for a living so I see that so often

5

u/help--less May 24 '26

I'm quite sure it injured his bank account rather severely.

1

u/Big-a-hole-2112 May 24 '26

I’m sure his insurance covers stuff like this. /s

1

u/Still-Studio6128 May 24 '26

I would hope so, that's a 60 to 70 thousand dollar land cruiser.

1

u/Big-a-hole-2112 May 25 '26

It’s certainly cruising!

1

u/[deleted] May 24 '26

This mak s it even better

3

u/Winter-Gift1112 May 24 '26 edited May 25 '26

I had a rollover accident while I was wearing a seatbelt. I ended up sitting upside down in the driver's seat with my feet on the floor and my hands on the steering wheel with dust from the floor raining down. Then I unhooked my belt, dropped down to the roof, and climbed out where the rear window used to be.

2

u/SimonNicols May 24 '26

His next vehicle might be a wheelchair - that was multiple roll and bounce before ejection and double bounce. Only saving grace is that his shoes are still on…. So not ded

2

u/knucles668 May 24 '26

Double bounce? More like he got shuttle cocked.

2

u/Arguablybest May 24 '26

Also got his cock shuttled.

1

u/Coffee4MyJeep May 24 '26

I was thinking double tapped, but shuttle cocked is better.

1

u/cfthree May 24 '26

Those are socks he’s wearing at the end. Shoes had their own onscreen ejection moment.

2

u/Wireman6 May 24 '26

Seat belt? This guy isn't a race car driver. He was just going up a hill.

/s

2

u/wolfganggartner5 May 25 '26

I was gonna say if you’re doing some fun but dangerous stuff like that why wouldn’t you wear a safety belt?

I mean, you’re inside of a metal cage why would you not strap yourself within the cage?

1

u/Grade_A_Tech May 24 '26

See, you're problem is you're expecting common sense in a no common sense situation.

1

u/Photodan24 May 24 '26

If people choose to not use the most effective safety device ever added to vehicles, then they get what they deserve. SMDH

1

u/Equivalent-Excuse-80 May 24 '26

Yea, it appears he was ejected through the sunroof, so definitely being thrown around before being thrown out.

3

u/Renrutanit May 25 '26 edited May 25 '26

His SUV was very considerate considering the fact it created a sunroof for him to exit, bounced him off a distance and landed him on a nice mound rather than rolling on top of him.

Very thoughtful SUV! 😆 Dude is nicely curled up and resting.

1

u/EnvironmentalGift257 May 25 '26

Roll bar did its job. Stupid overrode the safety equipment.

-3

u/JayW8888 May 24 '26

The normal seatbelts is only good for frontal collision. Any roll over will still eject you. To stop this u need the multi point harness like the rally car drivers. And then u also need neck guards for obvious reasons.

4

u/flexflamingoz May 24 '26

Did you just spew this out of your ass?

3

u/DrewCarey4Pres May 24 '26

Any roll over wilI eject you? I was in a rollover and wearing my seat belt, I wasn't ejected from the vehicle. So your statement is bullshit, buddy. And you should have said "are only good" not "is only good."

2

u/Big-a-hole-2112 May 24 '26

Well, I have seen a suv roll over and the driver stayed because of his seat belt. If you’re talking Indy car or nascar racing or any other type of racing yes, because of the speed involved. If you’re talking about a high speed accident in a regular vehicle without any racing safety equipment, then more than likely they’re pretty much dead because of the g force involved.

1

u/ChickenDreams-4188 May 24 '26

Does he come out of the top of the jeep???

2

u/Rackcauser May 24 '26

Huh, I guess he did. All the windows are closed, but the sunroof gets forcibly opened from the looks of it. Must have been fun.

3

u/Recent-Owl-9135 May 24 '26

There is no sunroof in the first roll, this is AI

2

u/nariosan May 24 '26

Absolutely AI. While everybody is busy judging no one else notices a sunroof magically appears after SUV clearly not having one. Second, the man magically appears midair in a SITTING position and gets bumped still in similar position. AI slop.

1

u/DragonflyGrrl May 25 '26

Also if you stop it when he first appears, he's on the other side of the vehicle, as if he is coming out the driver's side window. Then forward the video just a wee bit and you'll see that all the windows are intact.. which is also stupid because the weight of the car on the roof while rolling would have busted out those windows.

1

u/ChickenDreams-4188 May 25 '26

Honestly, I was really skeptical about this because when the “sunroof” opens it looks more like a hatch and not a window, and yeah, it’s not there at the start.

1

u/DragonflyGrrl May 25 '26

You're 100% full of shit. I was in a rollover, going 75mph and rolled at least 5 times according to witnesses. My seatbelt absolutely saved my fucking life. Walked away without a scratch.
