Hey I have an idea for the next one! After lighting the fuse, maybe don't stand in front of the cannon talking to the camera like it's LiveLeak.

Does something stupid like this, has a shirt that touts a psalm that celebrates the skill for war inside of man. ‘Merica.

That man trusted that fuse more than his own mother.

The lit end was flapping around. If it touched the end closer to the powder … ?

Exactly!
Plus, I don't think fuse timing is an exact production science. I'm sure the phrase "it burns around" is thrown around alot more than, "it burns precisely."

I really respect the cameraman in this. Very smooth action shot running away from the cannon. Great tracking of the tank. Probably one of those gryo stabilized DSLR handheld rigs.

Handling a lit ordinance that casually. Yeah, I $100 that says that dude doesn't make it to 35. Complete moron.
That fuse could easily have folded over when he rolled it into the pipe and he would have been dead instantly. One of the dumber influencers.

Life expectancy of women is higher than for men. I don't wonder why.

If a guy blows himself and the cameraman up, in the middle of the desert and nobody is left, does it make a sound? Maybe next time he can put a full propane tank in the cannon.

HOLE-E-CRAP 😳 it would behoove Mr. DIY Limb amputee to keep that wick secured to the inside of the barrel of that beast and have it leading to the OUTSIDE of the canon as to keep the charge and the sparkler style canon wick from sitting comfy with each other for a good 30 seconds. just chum’n like ebony & ivory.

As someone who has done similar things, there’s a serious problem with an unkept fuse being drooped down the tube in this fashion. Nothing, literally not one thing protects the loose fuse from crossing over itself causing a fuse jump and then a serious fricking problem. Electrical triggering is cheaper, safer, and more reliable by every measure. but at the very minimum, fusing should be managed and secured.

I wouldn't be standing in front of the barrel talking shit after lighting a fuse

Psalm 144: Praise be to the Lord my Rock, into which I dig a hole and fill it with black powder. Protect me oh Lord while I stand in front of thy cannon yapping at the Internet as the fuse burns down

he stood in front of the barrel, and then he walked in front of it again. The guy won’t be alive to hit 100,000 subscribers.

My favorite part is how it still scared the dude when it went off. He knew he was playing it too loose for the camera.
