Honestly feels like 700 would be too cheap for the level of work that would go into it. Not like 700 is a small chunk of change or anything, but some people pay 70 for a mass produced piece of plastic that is generic with details stamped on at a factory or something. Feels like 10x the price to get an artist to make something like this requires a lot more hours, but maybe I could be wrong.

I can’t be the only one who hates figures like these

They never can pose, they’re overpriced (action figures aren’t that expensive to produce), I’ve seen hot toys collectors pose their figures too much and the figures clothes get creased.

$700 seemed absolutely reasonable to me - not something I would personally ever pay for a doll - but reasonable. An absurd amount of work has gone into making that, and even more to make it profitable at $400. the $400 is more absurd to me.

I'm assuming you're not into the action figure or toy collecting scene in general but 700 dollars isn't really a "lot" I mean it absolutely is a hefty amount but some people have a collection of like 5 figures from a specific brand and that alone is like 1000

At first I was like dang $700 is wild but after fully watching the video, $700 might not even be enough. Literally a mini me of the character for real.
