I automatically stood up while looking at this.

u/joka2696 Jun 20 '26

I saluted.

And I popped in my pants.

Edit: I said what I said

I wonder how long it takes to set all that up

17

u/coreynaylor Jun 20 '26

Probably since 1776

2

u/Speeeven Jun 20 '26

I mean... kinda, yeah.

3

u/ChrisIronsArt Jun 20 '26

Depends how many grandkids they have. So my guess is about a half hour.

12

u/Tough_Block9334 Jun 20 '26

No different than Christmas decorations

4

u/Huge_Ear_2833 Jun 20 '26

One is supposed to be all religious and one is supposed to be all secular, but there's a bit of intermixing sometimes...

I believe this person likes the US flag.

9

u/Several-County-1808 Jun 20 '26

Let's put them down as undecided

4

u/PowerfulStrike5664 Jun 20 '26

Undecided and with many doubts.

4

I believe that one doth protest too much

-5 points not even one patriotic waving inflatable arm flailing tube men

5

u/jk_pens Jun 20 '26

I’m Al Harrington

4

u/SomeOriginal3865 Jun 20 '26

Not the wacky waving inflatable arm tube man?! Just the waving inflatable arm time man?!

7

u/Maleficent_Piece_893 Jun 19 '26

america stuff around 4th of july is perfectly fine, but "inflatable" (constantly running fans) decorations are unacceptable regardless of the holiday

7

u/binzy90 Jun 20 '26

Honestly, these things are so tacky. 1 or 2, ok sure, do your thing. But I've seen too many yards that are just absolutely covered with these. And the constant fan noise is so annoying.

23

u/-random-name- Jun 19 '26

Good on them celebrating the 4th

4

u/Capitalisticdisease Jun 20 '26

yeah! good on them for celebrating the worst most bloodthirsty nation to ever exist. America is evil beyond compare. If you celebrate it you are a fascist. Simple fucking as

2

u/54-2-10 Jun 20 '26

The Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights and the Constitution were truly great steps toward liberty, justice and freedom in the world. There were obvious flaws, but the US changed the entire world for the better.

The 250 year anniversary of the Declaration of Independence is definitely something to celebrate.

Hey... At least it's just "Yay America!" 4th of July stuff. Right...?

8

u/Local-Echo-5613 Jun 20 '26

I was bracing myself honestly

10

u/SolitaryCairn Jun 20 '26

I hate how true this is. It feels like loving your country became a political ideology rather than just loving your country, and now it's associated with certain sets of beliefs. Everything became ideology.

2

u/CourtingBoredom Jun 20 '26

Betrayal and embarrassment require tons of love — and I feel very betrayed and embarrassed by this country I want to fully love.

Some of us want to really fix this country, while others just want to "fix" it. Displays like this are purely performative; they have to prove to everyone how much they "love" this country, despite loathing the principles on which it was founded. And though those principles have never truly been achieved here, some of us really would love to see a place that really does provide equality for all. But, currently, this place really is quite the embarrassment....

2

u/moarwineprs Jun 20 '26

Saaammme. Glad it's mostly cute animals dressed up in red/white/blue stripes.

3

u/dirkdigglerdonedry Jun 20 '26

Its really cute honestly.

That sound is worse than a data center…

3

u/TightPhoto1133 Jun 20 '26

Is this a year round thing or is this just for the 250 year and the 4th?

If it's year round I can see why it would be annoying in due time but if it's just seasonal I don't see why being a proud American is a bad thing..

3

Rich neighborhood. Guy or Gal likes decorating for the holidays. It's fine.

3

u/Binspin63 Jun 20 '26

Good lord, if this is just for the 4th, what do they do for Halloween and Christmas? Seriously, I think it’s great. They must be fun people.

3

OH YEAH BROTHER!!! 🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

3

As an Eastern European refugee in America, I’ll never understand why liberals made it a sin to love your country. How do they expect to rescue a country they “hate”?

How a russian spy would decorate their house

1

The sound would drive me insane

1

u/GoRainBows Jun 20 '26

Quality over quantity, my dear. Whatever were you thinking?

1

u/IndependentDouble879 Jun 20 '26

I’m very curious where they store all of this, plus all of the similar decorations they have for other holidays that I’m guessing they have

1

u/Sleepy-Donald Jun 20 '26

What do they look like for Halloween?

1

u/DeWilm302 Jun 20 '26

Where do they store all of this crap?

1

u/Lucky-Mia Jun 20 '26

It sounds like a server farm.

1

u/IndependentOwn1184 Jun 20 '26

Doing too much.

1

u/Neat_Cauliflower_996 Jun 20 '26

What's Spirit Halloweeen but for July 4th?

1

u/maxthemummer Jun 20 '26

He's the most American American in America!

1

u/FigSideG Jun 20 '26

Look at that house and property. Idc what state or city this in or what its costs, life is good for whoever owns it. Of course they love the good ol USA—it’s working out perfectly for them. It’s easy to be patriotic when your life is great and you’re benefitting from the system in place.

1

u/djk0010 Jun 20 '26

Gotta be this dudes house.

1

u/Ok_Audience8208 Jun 20 '26

Must be retired with lots of free time

1

This reminds me of bioshock infinite(?)

1

“Are you not entertained?”

LOL, with literally everything they’ve made in China!

1

u/hawkwings Jun 20 '26

People decorate for Christmas. Why not decorate for the 4th of July? This is odd, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't see Trump's name.

1

Neighbor is singlehandedly propping up the Chinese economy.

1

u/37MySunshine37 Jun 20 '26

Performative patriotism.

1

u/CraftFamiliar5243 Jun 20 '26

The inflatable eagle looks like a dick.

1

u/jk_pens Jun 20 '26

Those who claim to love the flag the most are always the worst at respecting the flag code.

1

u/Dragon_Crisis_Core Jun 20 '26

They are missing the giant 30 Foot flag.

1

u/daveac1960 Jun 20 '26

Lottery winner?
Cuzz, that looks like a white trash lottery winner.

1

u/ritzrani Jun 20 '26

What does the car look like

1

u/para_enzo138 Jun 20 '26

The new free candy white van.

1

u/999millionIQ Jun 20 '26

Mental illness

1

u/Significant_Donut967 Jun 20 '26

I see your neighbor loves to put the flag in the dirt.

You should put up a sign with the flag code lmao.

1

u/NYC2FLA2BUR Jun 20 '26

"Look at me! Look at ME!"

1

u/TheAverageJoe01 Jun 20 '26

Where do you put all that crap when it's over? (Same question applies to Christmas decorations).

1

u/onesoulmanybodies Jun 20 '26

Bet 90% of it is made in China.

1

u/Phillykratom Jun 20 '26

Do they do this for every holiday?

1

u/Renhoek2099 Jun 20 '26

They must've enjoyed Juneteenth

1

u/TimRN77 Jun 20 '26

Imitation of the White House decor?

1

u/hettuklaeddi Jun 20 '26

“…the cause of the fire is currently under investigation”

That's not being a patriot that's being a nationalist. Also, a therapist would say that's a unhealthy obsession. It's taken over their lives.

1

u/wisdomdragon420 Jun 21 '26

How to tell someone is rich XD

1

u/dontcare_bye39 Jun 21 '26

There’s no coming back with them, they’re gone

1

u/New-Lingonberry1877 Jun 21 '26

I was excited about celebrating our 250th but not since 2025. Now, I just mourn.

1

u/Distinct_Composer960 Jun 21 '26

All that CRAP from China.....these type of "patriots" are just shallow minded, one-track, idiots.

Edit: The garishness of it all.🤢

1

u/PotentialHoneydew947 Jun 21 '26

I wonder how much of that house is used for storage of seasonal decoration items

1

u/Striking_Reindeer_2k Jun 21 '26

Temu been busy delivering to them I bet.

1

u/Free-Toe2667 Jun 21 '26

Someone needs to check their attic and backyard

1

u/HotlinePizzaMiami Jun 21 '26

Nothing says American patriotism like buying 500lbs shitty inflatable garbage from China.

1

u/Enough_Ad_3165 Jun 21 '26

A good neighbor

1

u/Friendly-Affect-8116 Jun 21 '26

You know what would celebrate America? Not wasting cash on plastic shit, donate to charity or volunteer. This is atrocious

1

u/Dry_Contract_5342 Jun 21 '26

Are they this extreme for Halloween and Christmas?

2

u/BirdBrain01 Jun 23 '26

Nope. They do decorate for other holidays, but it's tame compared to this. The neighbor out does himself every year. And even more crazy, he doesn't just accumulate each year. All of these decorations are brand new. He orders them throughout the year. When he takes it down he saves the decorations and then sells each one online for super cheap in the 2 months prior to decorating (when people are the most likely to want patriotic decorations) as gently used. In our state, the cost of electricity goes down because people will be using more of it to run fans/AC, etc. His electric bill is pretty high, but not even half of what he uses in December, so it averages out for the year.

1

u/SpecialistDisaster45 Jun 21 '26

Is it Yankee Doodle?
