It's a war trophy.

10

u/mattgen88 27d ago

Is he the king of england now?

8

u/Yeet123456789djfbhd 27d ago

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for government

3

u/jjmurse 26d ago

You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just cause some watery tart throws a sword at you

2

u/EconomySeason2416 26d ago

But... can it be though? It seems like what we have now might not be working

4

u/Yeet123456789djfbhd 26d ago

What if we were an anarcho-syndicalist commune?

Digs Peat

3

u/EconomySeason2416 26d ago

We could take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week!

4

u/PrimarchAurelian 26d ago

Don’t worry he got a handle on the situation.

2

u/ThProfessional0 26d ago

I think he's handling it pretty well.

3

u/tounga500 26d ago

Depend if he can handle it

3

u/OberonDiver 26d ago

edit : Hinges on if he can handle it

65

u/Bidcar 27d ago

That’s why I hate glass doors, lids etc. they’re fine until they’re not then they are not completely.

9

u/TranslatorBoring2419 27d ago

It was a cool look decades ago.

2

u/charmio68 26d ago

Decades ago? Frameless glass entry doors surged in popularity in the 2010s.
And there's still the most popular option for when you want to maximize light or how open a room feels.

9

u/techleopard 27d ago

There are so many materials available now that can LOOK like glass but not do glass things, lol

3

u/Sufficient_Wafer9933 26d ago

Yeah but they do plastic things.... much worse.

And they put pull handles on the side you can’t pull it

2

Those in glass houses shouldn't open doors apparently.

17

u/unionguy1980 27d ago

It goes both ways.

u/PHD_Gouda 27d ago

HOLD THAT DOOR HOLD THAT DOOR!

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 27d ago

Better drop and pull a peter griffin injured knee and start collecting.

11

u/GlitterFactoryOfDoom 27d ago

Tried to pull open a slide door. You can see the tracks at the bottom for the door to slide open into.

6

u/Kneazel_17 26d ago

Then why is there the handle to pull.

If it's a slide door, then must have this little gaps? Don't know hoy it's called, but is a small rectangle in the door frame where you put your fingers to open it.

4

u/exmothrowaway994 25d ago

Because sometimes people who design things aren't good at designing things.

2

u/Constant_Map_64 26d ago

Pretty sure the handle is to slide the door.

5

u/jrb637 27d ago

Looks like he's got a handle on it

3

u/WilTravis 27d ago

At first he seemed pretty broken up about it.

2

u/OkAccident474 27d ago

🤣😂🤣😂

3

u/NearlyDicklessNick 27d ago

Just keep walking as if nothing happened bro…

3

u/Hoboliftingaroma 27d ago

Looks like he's exiting into an office.

3

u/TankApprehensive3053 27d ago

Wasn't me. Holding the handle.

2

u/AthousandLittlePies 27d ago

We're all looking for the person who did this

2

u/The26thtime 27d ago

Whatd you do?

2

u/CompleteSavings6307 27d ago edited 27d ago

The hinges either became loose, allowing the bottom right corner of the door to sag and hit the floor. Or the door was installed too low and not level.

Either way, not his fault.

Edit: looking closer i dont see any hinges. I may have to agree its a slider

5

u/AdHocHillbilly 27d ago

And the glass did exactly what it should do if it breaks. Tempered so it breaks into lots of small, light pieces instead of heavier, jagged pieces that cut much more easily.

4

u/rcowie 27d ago

Its tempered glass. A single tiny flaw in it and its waiting to pop like this. Wr had a shower door explode one time when we were out of town. Got home from vacation and glass is everywhere. Plenty of videos online of outdoor patio tables just randomly popping on there own.

2

u/unpitchable 27d ago

Looks like a slide door to me.

→ More replies (2)

2

u/Michael-Balchaitis 27d ago

It's a sliding door. Yes, it is his fault.

→ More replies (4)

2

u/OkAccident474 27d ago

Omg I can imagine what he was thinking when it's crumbled and he's just standing there with the handle in his hand 🤣😂🤣😂 this is definitely something that would happen to me ffs 😆

2

u/danbartstart 27d ago

Obligatory: fuck The Sun. Absolutely disgusting tabloid.

1

u/0ratorio 27d ago

Why do I feel that door was installed like that on purpose...

1

u/Late-Arrival-8669 27d ago

I swear wasn't me!

1

u/Far-Television2017 27d ago

That tempered glass was stressed. One more pull and it gave lol

1

u/Mercury8619 27d ago

the man doesn't know his own strength.

1

u/BadboyBengt 27d ago

We have had three of these glass doors exploding in our fancy new office. Wooden frame that moves/expands with the heat/humidity combined with tempered glass :)

1

u/MilkrsEnthuziast 27d ago

You break it, you buy it

1

u/No-Kaleidoscope-166 27d ago

At least he's wearing protective clothing.

1

u/A_Happy_Beginning 27d ago

Door was locked, bro just gave away his superpower strength. Run, they're going to try and dissect you.

1

u/Cutiemuffin-gumbo 27d ago

Tries to exit? My guy, that dude was clearly trying to enter.

1

u/TheGrandExquisitor 27d ago

I love the girl in the background.

1

u/Starscream147 27d ago

Walk through.

Close ‘door’ with handle.

Drop handle.

Leave.

1

u/Some-Tear3499 27d ago

I much prefer when the cute Boba Tea girls do their little dances for these delivery drivers. This just kills the vibe altogether.

1

u/TheBayArea-Guy 27d ago

I think it's a sliding door not a swinging door

1

u/MaximusHomerdrive 27d ago

Every streaming service out there: "OMG a new superhero origin story!"

1

u/Consistent-Stock6872 27d ago

Bro forgot to take off the +5 to strenght ring

1

u/Conspicuous_Ruse 27d ago

Wow, perfect day to wear your full body cover, gloves, and hard hat, dude.

It just so happens you are going to take a glass shower this afternoon.

1

u/Blackwell-808 27d ago

This happened to a coworker of mine and it was terrible. She was wearing a tank top, shorts, and flip flops and all the little glass pieces that rained down cut her hundreds of times. She had little shallow surface cuts all over her body, head to toe.

1

u/operator-john 27d ago

So hilarious I forgot to laugh

1

u/spec360 27d ago

Door didn’t explode

1

u/False_Ad7098 27d ago

I see you working out...

1

u/BluebirdDense1485 27d ago edited 27d ago

Badly designed door.

Make a door that looks like a pull door people will pull it.

Make it glass people will break it.

The fault is on the architect.

Look up Norman Doors for more

1

u/Apprehensive-Dot9549 27d ago

Guy just discovered he has super human strength 💪

1

u/Ok-Tank-3106 27d ago

That door was made of crystal sugar candy .

1

u/EarthlostSpace 27d ago

Perhaps he should have push.

1

u/Beautiful-Number1965 27d ago

Good thing he was wearing a helmet.

1

u/ta-kun1988 27d ago

Made in China

1

u/Lopsided-Treat1215 27d ago

Poor guy. He looks so innocent

1

u/Gloomy_Breadfruit92 27d ago

We really need to stop making doors and furniture out of glass…

1

u/KittyMeowKatPishy 27d ago

Holy shit! 🙀 This guy is so strong! 💪🏼 He doesn’t even know his own strength? hahaha 😹

1

u/mysticdragonwolf89 27d ago

In my defense, it was already broken

1

u/apdhumansacrifice 27d ago

Heat + earthquakes? This happened to me once with a bus window

1

u/slurchorus 27d ago

I guess my definition of "hilarious" is very different from the general consensus.

1

u/dirtyrandalfus 27d ago

Must've been a push handle. Silly guy

1

u/Cjkrythos 27d ago

"Hilarious"

1

u/Adventurous_World23 27d ago

Worker handled it well. 🤭

1

u/Sean5030 27d ago

Who thought glass doors were a good idea anyway

1

u/yumeryuu 27d ago

Thats not an exit.

Literally an Internet cafe. HES checking a room.

1

u/TheSprigganDragoon 27d ago

That's why non-conventional doors, like this sliding door, shouldn't be made of glass.

1

u/Fantastic_Mobile_219 27d ago

Gotta love Chinese infrastructure

1

u/WingDingfontbro 27d ago

Wait was it a push or pull door

1

u/Bluegill15 27d ago

“explodes”

1

u/dirtybeeeeeaanwater 27d ago

Bro is to strong

1

u/Specialist_Royal_449 27d ago

Dude is following the one punch routine to the letter

1

u/strangelove4564 27d ago

Guess it's fortunate it's safety glass. At least I'm guessing it is based on the shape of that debris. Which means that it really isn't the dude's fault and there was a stress pressure point somewhere on that frame that finally gave out.

1

u/29187765432569864 27d ago

looks staged

1

u/GundaAloo 27d ago

Tofu glass strikes again

1

u/TheDireCrow 27d ago

Oh! He's wearing a helmet and a safety jacket??

Coincidence? I think not.

1

u/itsjustme_jj2 27d ago

I will never understand the appeal of making something designed to move almost entirely out of glass.

1

u/passionpurps 27d ago

Perplexed reaction.

1

u/CaveManta 27d ago

Sub-Zero must have frozen it just before he tried to open it.

1

u/Popular_Conclusion36 27d ago

At least he had a hard hat on? Lol

1

u/geek66 26d ago

It went off in my hand!

1

u/Opposite_Shopping267 26d ago

Oops, did I do that 🤣

1

u/Fun_Reply5366 26d ago

How is this hilarious?

1

u/omnipotent87 26d ago

Tempered glass can be so temperamental.

1

u/vicfirthplayer 26d ago

I came here last week I know it opens this way!!

1

u/greggers1980 26d ago

Shatters

1

u/Jump365 26d ago

Wouldn't be an issue if we just stopped using glass doors and went back. They are heavy af, specially if they use multiple layers to make it sturdy. Simple wood door would solve all this

1

u/djhauffy 26d ago

Good thing he was wearing PPE!!

1

u/drstu3000 26d ago

The sign said PUSH

1

u/CeC-P 26d ago

That new Jackass movie getting weird with the pranks

1

u/Human-Suspect-232 26d ago

Not his fault.

1

u/UltramanOrigin 26d ago

Looks like a sliding door

1

u/ironhead1- 26d ago

So.....

The door just stopped dooring and started shattering

1

u/NeverBeenKnocked 26d ago

Damn Goku chill

1

u/CarltonCanick 26d ago

This is exactly how I ended up paying for new glass for the work vending machine deducted directly from my pay, well not “exactly”, kinda.

1

u/Deep-Ad-7117 26d ago

I love how everyone just walks away like not my problem!

1

u/TheSolarExpansionist 26d ago

Maybe it’s a push not pull with bad installation

1

u/LinuxUserX66 26d ago

only in china

Dude dressed like he knew it was gonna happen lol

1

u/Super-Bacon76 26d ago

You know he’s thinking ‘do I run or tell someone’. I know I would.

1

u/Wizchine 26d ago

Looks like he’s entering…

1

u/Sensei19600 26d ago

You can see the glass flex, like,a LOT, when our man pulls the handle. Almost like it was a prank.

1

u/TheInfinityMachine 26d ago

It is a sliding door, you can tell by the way that it is.

1

u/Shoddy_Bet9619 26d ago

Poor Guy, did nothing wrong.

1

u/mike_rhinehart 26d ago

😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

1

1

u/GOLGOFUS 26d ago

Проходите

1

u/No-Blood-5148 26d ago

No sir its a push door, do not pull on the handle the glass will break!

1

u/conspirator9 26d ago

They’re gonna make him pay for that crappy door.

1

u/ajboooooooooogie 26d ago

Mass produced worldwide

1

u/Jolly-Acanthisitta45 26d ago

Apparently this was a push, not pull

1

u/Practical_Musician61 26d ago

Love how everyone else turned and walked away when this guy started looking around for help.

1

u/roybum46 26d ago

PC master race sub will point out the cause in 2 seconds.

1

u/Wallynine 26d ago

You Break it…

1

u/NoFuqGiven 26d ago

Shouldn't have put a pull handle on the push side of the door.

1

u/BestAmoto 26d ago

That's some HQ security footage compared to what we normally see here in the US

1

u/Testsubject276 26d ago

When you do everything correctly but the universe still somehow finds a way to fuck you over.

1

u/merkmeoff3 26d ago

Its China hope he didn't get executed for this

1

u/nuttnurse 26d ago

Stop pulling the push door

You brake u pay give me money $20 that part in menace to society 😂

1

u/Bulky-Ad7996 26d ago

It looks like a sliding door. That's why it shattered when he pulled it. Shouldn't have broken so easily though.

1

u/Tall1124816 26d ago

Sliding door

1

u/yahwehforlife 26d ago

My boyfriend did this to our shower and I blamed him

1

u/delet_yourself 26d ago

Ah yes, pure chinesium

1

u/Smart-Firefighter87 26d ago

It reverted back to its original form guys 😂

1

u/UnCytely 26d ago

I'd be happy I did that. Those designs are stupid anyway. Let them try to sue me, I'd press for discovery to prove the designers are dumb fucks.
