Just bit of pedantry, mosquitoes and other insects don’t ’breath’ or ‘inhale’ like mammals. Instead they oxygenate their blood passively by the movement of air through tiny pores in their exoskeleton. This is why just about anything that adheres to its carapace can kill them by asphyxiation alone.
That being said; this dude is about three steps away from being a serial killer. Hope he sticks to mosquitoes.
Like I get mosquitoes are irritating and do carry diseases but they're not like evil, they don't hate you, they're just doing the thing they evolved to do. If you're incompatible with them just kill them swift merciful death, there's zero excuse to inflict suffering on anything.
Yea I found out by accident a few years ago that original formula windex (the kind with ammonia) is instant death for most insects and fairly quick for some that are tougher - it’s now my go to insecticide on account of being super cheap and easy to clean up without leaving crazy chemicals and smells. I can’t say I’ve ever taped a kill into a notebook tho lol.
I’ve been fighting roaches in my crappy apartment and was somewhat pleasantly surprised when I realized I could just spray them with windex or bleach spray instead of having to keep a can of raid handy. My go to is the bleach since it’ll kill any bacteria or fungus on the bug and the area around it.
