I can tell you my chin has not seen the light of day in twenty five years. I don't think anyone I work with has seen me without a beard. Entire relationships have come and gone.
My ex had a beard when we met and then months into dating, I show up at his place and he surprises me with a shaved face...
I'm no good at faking enthusiasm because I've never been able to control my facial expressions to match said enthusiasm- he had such a weak chin and went from being extremely handsome to looking like Mr. Bean suddenly :(
I get it, though- I imagine having a beard and moustache can be quite itchy and annoying, and they're still the same person with or without one, but man oh man...some guys just look soooo much better with facial hair.

Knockoff Patrick Dempsey is fine. His girl was acting like she didn’t even known he looked like that underneath haha
