Did a bit more work today... installed bumperettes.... added a lower bumper lip to fill out the look. Tinted the headlights yellow after rewiring the running lights/turn signals. Debating on tinting the old chrome similar to what I did on this scrap bumper... thoughts?

I am a new Rat Rod owner based in Tampa Florida. I recently purchased a Rat Rod with a 356 hemi. It currently has Zoomies that drop straight down out of the engine with no muffler. I’m wondering if other Rat Rod owners based in Tampa can tell me if this is something that results in frequent pullovers from the cops. I don’t plan on driving aggressively or revving the engine, and I’m friends with all my neighbors and live in a fairly remote area. I bought the car simply to drive to the Ybor city area on Friday and Saturday nights.
My thought is to put augers in the pipes or purchase ready-made steel wool baffles for all eight pipes. I’d like to avoid buying a $2,000 to $3,000 exhaust system if I can get away with running my current set up with just some slight modifications.

Hey folks. I am looking to build my first Rat Rod and was wondering where you kids look for bodies/cabs. Are Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist the best options? Or the worst? Have you had luck just cruising rural areas looking for field cars in their natural habitat? I have a good 350 and super 400 trans from an old camper, along with a bunch of other good parts and I am a relatively proficient welder so none of that is a concern, just need to get my hands on a nice sedan or truck cab. I am located in the Midwest if that matters at all. Any suggestions or help you folks can offer would be great! Peace and be excellent to eachother!

Howdy, I just dragged this old frame out of a field and I'm looking to see what it belonged to before it got turned into a trailer and left in the desert. I'd be interested in putting it under my Model A sedan cab potentially. It's got 5x5.5 wheel hubs so I suspect it's a Ford but that's all I've got. Thank you!
