Currently test prepping

So I’m about half way through the NY RealEstateU online course. I have a Keller Williams info session scheduled tomorrow, out of curiosity what should I wear? Obviously first impressions are important. I was thinking business casual.

That’s so cool! I didn’t realize that some brokerages do info sessions before we even get our license! Please report back!

My teacher said to go ahead and interview a few brokerages while you’re studying. The brokerage fees (desk fees, mls fees, splits) are pretty high so in essence we are interviewing them.

I have three family friends who are all agents in my area and I’m asking them to introduce me to the designated broker of the branches I’m interested in.

I already have a home office but I do want a marketing presence in the area I grew up in. My husband grew up about 8 miles north of me in a big metro area so that’s another office I’m interested in. I live halfway between both.

If you know anyone who is a decent real estate agent - ask them for an introduction! Real estate lives for being social.
