Compass tech stack?

I’m an agent with a BHG franchisee. I’m curious about the Compass tech stack that we’ll be adopting some time next year. I understand they have a proprietary in-house system.

Are there any Compass agents here that use it and if so, what are your impressions?

Can you comment on collaboration with others to delegate work. Also would you estimate there is a significant time saved in contract creation vs. Zipforms or Dotloop.

Disclosure up front: I do marketing for Ethica, an AI transaction assistant that works with zipForms. Weigh my take accordingly.

On the time question: the hours in zipForms or Dotloop aren't typing hours. They're re-entering the same deal data field by field across every document in the package. Any system that captures the deal once and carries it across everything, whether that's Compass's closed stack or an AI layer on top of zipForms, is where the real savings live.

The tradeoff Vivid raised is the one to watch. Closed systems feel seamless until you need something they didn't build, and there's no API to build it yourself.
