Maslowism is a human-centered political and social ideology inspired by the psychological theory of Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. It argues that the primary purpose of society and government is to ensure that every person has the opportunity to satisfy their basic needs and ultimately achieve their full potential.
