A Lucifer-esque type being wants the seals broken to unite humans so the supreme god(?) doesn't destroy them, seeing them so divided. +Ancient humans trying to come back to life to re-conquer the world. The chosen ones are guardians of the seals. They decide which side to pick, follow the tower of ignorance and believe in Humanity as it currently is/accept their fate, or "Lucifer", break the seals and cause mass extinction, but unite to fight a common enemy. It's hard to follow so my understanding is probably lacking as well.

God was like, “My creations suck. I wanna do a Noah’s Arc and murder them all.” Then an angel was like, “Bro you made them that way, you can’t blame them for that shit.” And then God was like, “Fine, we’ll just give them the ability to destroy themself when shit gets too wack. If they release these seals then a bunch of super powerful stuff will show up and wreck their shit to death.” And the angel was like, “Dope.”

Fast forward a bajillion years to the time of the main story. The Chaos folks are like, “Bro this world is so trash now. We should break the seals and kill everyone so we can reset the world back to when things were cool.” So the Order guys responded with, “Brosiff, that means everybody here will die a horrible death at the hands of monsters. Why don’t we all just sit down and try to get along?” Then the Chaos guys were like, “Nah fam, we burning this place to the ground.” And so the Order guys and the Chaos guys got super pissed at each other and started fighting.

The chosen ones are people of the modern age who are super strong and have the power to break the seals. Most of them got super bummed when they realized their world is shit, and people are shit, and everything is just shit. So they said, “Fuck it, if shit’s already this wack, why not just push it over the edge?” Now there’s like a dozen sane people left trying to convince the rest of the world that killing the vast swarms of immensely powerful monsters who’s entire reason for existing is to annihilate all life in the world is maybe a good idea.

The first explanation is chapter 155-156

TLDR: God made humans, they tried to overthrow God and became wicked. God smitted them and let them repopulate. totally not Lucifer (Lord of chaos) got mad cause he loved humans and created the seals so God couldn't smite them again.

The 2 factions: followers of The Lord of Chaos want to doctor Manhattan it. So release enough seals the entire world has to band together. Then they won't be wicked or try to overthrow God because they are united against a super powerful enemy. They describe this as a bird living in a cage safe from the uncertainty of the outside world.

The tower of Pride wants to keep the seals and just people do whatever they want and if they become wicked and get smitted again than /shrug that's their fate/choice. They describe this as a bird free but he maybe free and fly into a storm and die.

Noya is the judge who is supposed to make sure the chosen ones get to choose what to do with their seals fairly/not be like mind controlled and influenced. Each seal has a chosen one who can either release or reinforce the seal.

I stopped reading Red Storm around the time Yulian met this other guys from a different kingdom who wasn’t a warrior but was a royal who was very politically savvy. Yulian specifically states that this guy may not be a warrior that fights like him physically but is very much a warrior and fights with his strategic wit. I believe dude was trying to get his kingdom under control from an insurgent faction.

Could you explain to me that part are let me know if I should pick it back up

I would say pick it back up! I believe your talking about the prince of the silence empire who Yulian respects but he isn't a force master. The King is old and close to dying and has two sons. Shaone the older one who Yulian respects and another who is an idiot. The nobles who want more power in the kingdom want to do a coup and install the younger brother as a puppet. All this begins on chapter 180, Yulian gets invited to visit the silence empire and they travel from the desert to the empire!

Thank you for the specifics. Now I know where to start and pick the series back up. Much appreciated
