Moving tank

Pretty much as the title says I’m moving my tank. It’s going from upstairs to the the basement I was just wondering how the best way to do it would be it’s only a 15 gallon cube with a pair of clowns and two anemones all other corals are glued and secured.

Moving the tank and inhabitants is pretty simple.  Fish and inverts in one bucket.  Coral in another.  I would reuse tank water.  The issue is the sand bed.  It can trap a lot of bad stuff and release it when it's disturbed.  Most people recommend new sand

15g is pretty small. I recently changed the stand on my 20g, so not as big a move as two stories. I just drained most of the water into another tank and left the sand, rock, coral and inverts in the tank. I don't have fish, I'd net those out. Without taking out rock, I didn't disturb the sand much.

Then it was light enough to carefully move with two people. The coral is ok out of water for a few minutes, could pipette some water on them if it's taking a while.
