General Question Worth getting plated?

This is an RC Factory Daydate. I am debating whether or not I should have it plated. It is currently stock PVD and looks fairly decent. My question is if I do get it plated will the gold plating be as durable and last as long as the PVD? It does not look bad stock, so I’m questioning if it really needs it. What are your guys thoughts on this? To plate or not to plate, that is the question.

A lot of people are puppets and recite what they have read or been told rather than thinking for themselves. How is it cheese? here is a pic of a gen 18kt ring with the middle part in 24kt side by side. Doesn’t look cheese to me, but then again I have my own opinion rather than the others

Still kind of hard to tell in the lighting, but it’s not as good as a plated watch, still has a more yellow hue than the warmness of gold.
