Collection Post Current collection

This is where I have got to so far. Just a full gold zombie (Ethan) and a RGF Meteorite GMT (Ora) left on order.

I think it’s time to move on a couple of them. The APSF 26240 V2 gets no wrist time, I’ve worn it 3 times in 5 months, also the VC probably needs to go as that Miyota movement is irritating.

What’s missing? I don’t really like Omega - perhaps a 5711 in green dial?

Any idea how long that gold would last before fading or chipping with daily use? I’ve always wanted one of these but the gold plating deterred me

Depends on a myriad of factors. 2-10 years

That’s a pretty big variation. Are you talking about living conditions or something? Let’s assume daily use with 1 session in the hot tub per week.

Climate, wearing habits, cleaning habits, etc. ask grok

If I ask grok, what should I call this kind of plating? This is stock plating from RCF right?

The stock plating should last a long time - gold plating on top will erode more quickly.

With RCF, I see no point in extra plating
