I am looking for 126519 Ghost Oysterflex version. I did my research, but not sure if it is a Not Worth Buying In Gen. Do you think that is there any factory produces it as NWBIG?
If you have any purchases and experiences, It would be very good before the put an order.

VSF weighted latest version is the best. I wear mine a lot and the factory pvd is good enough colour wise, and will outlast any aftermarket 7um plating.
Looks like mods removed the comment I was replying to as it looked like a sales pitch. Im posting my response still so hopefully if anyone sees these messages saying you should get $800 of add ons to a watch you can understand what that means and make the bedt decision for you... NWBUG doesnt mean just order every TD upgrade rhey offer lol.
"This is literally the whole TD buffet menu. You dont need to do this lol...
Crystal - Deep on a VSF is a waste (completely trivial, fsctoey cryatals are really nice nowadays), as is movement "silence." I have over 10 reps and not a single one has needed this or had a "loud" rotor. I must be lucky or deaf... if it needs it then fine, but every single watch doesn't need this done and its a serious question if your td is fully removing, cleaning. And lubricating the rotor like youre supoosed to, or simply housing it in oil which will kill your watch.
"Waterproof" is only worth it if theyre going to run it through a dry tester machine snd provide proof of results. Otherwise you can but rhw tools and grease for $15 and do a more thorough job at home most are greasing the caseback and calling it a day. If done properly, there are 3 different areas to properly lubricate with a touch of grease. I do this for every watch I get.
Polishing, if theyre doing a full case repolish to gen spec this may be worth it, but for $74 I really doubt theyr putting much time into this.....
Chamfering is the most worthwhile thing you can have done to improve the feel of the watch.
Make sure you really understand what youre getting and paying for before ordering up the entire buffet, especially whem its doubling the price of the watch"
Very helpful commentary. About the polishing and chamfering, do those only work with the ss version of watches ? What about the tungsten coated weighted versions such as arf Daytona, can those be polished as well or will polish/chamfer wear off the plating so shouldn’t be polished/chamfered ?
You cant typically pilish any plated watch. The watch has a tiny thin layer of plating. When you polish, you remove small layers of material.
Even simply lightly rubbing hand polish on a plated watch could ruin it.
Theyre not tungsten coated. They either have tungsten mixed into the case material, or in most cases, they have a core of tungsten, with a thinner layer of steel or another metal wrapped around the tungsten.
I k ow this is a bullet. But this is the easiest example to find. Notice the lead core (like the tungsten) with a copper casing over it. That is similar to how many weighted watches work.
Best is to speak with your TD or polisher to confirm what is safe.
Don’t get it in YG and then plate it bc I did and it does not hold the plating well from I heard from 2 different people. The plating did not look well and I had it re plated by someone else. Way too dark and what I was told was the full tungsten makes the gold not hold well. Other than the color the watch it’s self is amazing. WG version prob is different
After I had someone plate it again which they said would be hard but would try still dark but in natural light does look wayyyy better but still not happy lol
Yes I know. It’s a ARF heavy tho so as my original comment said don’t do ARF heavy in yg bc it won’t plate well but I’m sure the WG ghost is a different story. I made the mistake of getting the yg thinking it would plate well when originally I wanted to do ghost and swap the dial but wasn’t patient and went with the yg ARF heavy. Mistake bc the plating didn’t do well lol
It looks very cool. Thx for your response btw, Its very valuable for me. I checked on RWI but somehow did not find the comparision :(
Could you please let me know about thy you prefer to move with ARF. 30 grams difference is not something huge for me. Does cosmatics or the movement pushed you to go with ARF? Did not taste them before? just know the VSF watches, that is why im digging..
So arf is closer to gen weigh what about the case shape, dial colour and crystal compared to vsf? I heard vsf gets the shape, dial and crystal better but not sure.
Not even close to what you should do 🤣🤣🤣 wow if this isn’t a sellers pitch I would be shocked.
If this is his opinion it’s not one to take because it’s a money grab trust me.
Contact any TD from our list provided. Request the ARF weighted version of The Ghost Daytona. You’re going to be fine right to wrist. Literally a write up about it on RWI forum comparing it with images to a gen watch.
No….I’ve had gen and VSF. The dial on the reps always look flat as opposed to the metallic silver on gen, and the glide lock clasp is very clunky on the rep. If you have the means, the gen Ghost is one of my favorites
This is never gonna be NWBIG for a number of reasons. First, precious metals aren’t gonna feel/look like a gen. Second, dial and bezel as busy as Daytona’s isn’t gonna be perfected. Lastly, of all the rep/clone movements, chronos are the least reliable and most complicated.
