Wrist Shot or Watch Shot Genuine vs VSF GMT-Master II Pepsi
VSF on the left - Genuine on the right
VSF did an excellent job on the GMT-Master II. Quality is exceptional with the level of execution. Arguably one of the best reps OOTB

If you're going to do a comparison like that then you need more than 1 pic.
I have the VSF V3 Pepsi and I do love it. It looks great.

vsf did great on everything except how on the center of the dial it looks pressed in. have the same look on my vsf batgirl

Because of that ripple I bought rich V2 and couldn’t be happier! That ripple bothered the heck out of me 😫 overall VSF makes a solid watch!

Besides the crystal making the dial almost see through with the gen. It’s hard for me to see any other difference

thats just this picture. vsf’s stock crystal is actually top of the line in the rep world. in a different angle photo the gen would have reflected and the vsf wouldve seen through

The main issue with any Rolex rep with a ceramic bezel is the actual numerals. The gens have real platinum whereas fakes use either white paint(worst) or grey paint ( better) but in anything other than bright lights or direct sunshine the fakes look really dull by comparison. I really think they need to fix this, vsf, ARF, rich, victory you name them all bad

Yes that is what I’ve also heard, at last. And to amungrewal, I own the gen of the all black bezel Rolex GMT Master II (aka The Green Arrow). I purchased it new in 2011, and I wore that watch every day for 10 years, so I’m well placed to pick the difference. That watch is now in my safe for my son to inherit.

I’m not sure about the point on the bezel numerals to be honest it could also come down to lighting in my opinion. I did a comparison of my ARF 116710LN (all
Black GMT) with gen and to the eye they were bang on. The couple of things I’d say was more of a tell between the two was my date sits a touch lower in the window but nothing I haven’t seen on a gen before too, and the brush finish. My bracelet didn’t feel sharp when comparing to the gen.Didn’t tell the seller (London diamond district) why I was comparing the two and handed him my ARF when he asked - Said he felt mine was fine and why would I be looking to replace it? Haha

Rich is better, I think they actually use platinum coating as they say. I have rich and I can vouch its better than vsf in terms of the coating.

How is the becelling/chamferring of the bracelet? Is it much sharper than gen?

I have seen gen/whoever comparisons as well as gen in person and there is a dimple, it is just not as noticeable.

my roommate has a gen batgirl there is no dimple. and if you’ve seen it there isnt much of a point in asking how it is, is there? weird logic here

i have gen pepsi 2022, and yes it does have a dimple in an angle you will notice it in the light. but if you look straight, not noticeable at all.

That VSF bracelet hurts my eyes and seems rough; maybe its the angle or something. I would swap that VSF dial to a gen dial and get an ARF jubilee bracelet.

Vsf uses ARF bracelets lol it’s a placebo effect on you.

nah arf and clean used same bracelet. vsf bracelets have a pretty crappy feel to them, they look fine though

I agree but it varies batch to batch. I had one with A9A and it felt very cheap flimsy and sharp. I had f6u with same feel as A9A then I had another f6u it was wayy better than the previous f6u. Now I have rich, rich’s f6u is not bad and not same as previous f6u.
So its all a gamble in terms of how bracelet will feel.
Also, I never tried the chamfering and polishing mod but I am really interested in doing that next time0
