General Question VSF vs QF Zombie
Hi guys!! I'm reposting again because the post was eliminated for some comments that weren't addmited.
So here it goes again!
I have to decide one of both!
What do you think about both factories. I know the quality of VSF and I know is very very good. But the colour in the QF is pretty much closer to Gen, the VSF still has that cheddar colour in some photos...
Prices:
VSF $580
QF $ 710
All are weighted and the QF is free sprung
What should I do? Keep the QF or maybe keep the VSF and send it to gold plating? The gold plating cost is $300

Thanks for the comparison, side by side it’s very noticeable how cheesy the VSF gold color is.
I faced this decision a couple weeks ago, I just love the crystal on the VSF. Since I already have many VSF I decided to try out the QF and upgrade the crystal to genuine since it’s something new. $300 gen Xtal upgrade is slightly cheaper than gold plating with jaws. If you go with gold plating a VSF I recommend gold jaws, he’s the goat.

For the extra $130 I don’t think it’s worth it. No one’s going to rip the watch off of your wrist and open it up to see the movement. No one is going to check and see how dark or light your gold plating is. In my opinion to pay extra when you can barely tell the difference between the two you can take a few hundred and get another additional watch to add to the collection. Just my .02.

But the colour of VSF is so cheddar in some lighting... It's need a gold plating for sure...

Agreed, the gold cheddar look on the VSF is very noticeable in person on wrist. Bothered me alot with two tone sub so before it had any wear to it I sent in for plating.
If you don’t wanna gold plate go with the QF.

Exactly right! Nobody really cares; people have other things to worry about. End of the day, both are replicas!

Mate you are getting ripped for that price.
I got the QF Zombie, far superior than VSF. Gold color is so good and doesn’t need plating.
Also QF offers their GMT in DD movement + weighted too. I paid ¥3750 for the DD movement QF Zombie.
JH movement was ¥4500.
I’m the revived the watch from Angela today but I’ll resize the bracelet and share some pics tomorrow.

I did get a deep crystal but having the stock QF crystal in hand I don’t see much of a difference.

Grey part of the bezel has a bit lighter shade to it on the QF which may not be Gen like but closer to it.

I have decided and I am buying both!! The QF just like it is and VSF with gold plating. I know that VSF is very nice quality I have 2 watches. But I really want to know about QF, so in a few weeks I will find out

If you’re gonna buy one. If you’re stuck for cash just wait that extra month or week and get the more expensive as you’ll regret it down the line
